been a while since I've run into this kind of problem, but it should be caused by to many nesting folders ex. the directory path is to long. try unzipping it in a main folder like Downloads. If you are on windows 10/11 this could also fix your issue

Agreed, I like this game a lot as well but a lot of other games seem to be abandoned more and more lately. Getting nervous....

for everyone like me, that had problem with playing video this is the fix

copy the package.json into the game folder and click yes when ask to change (it works for everygame with NW.Js mode that give you video problem)

For 4 years he has a good amount of content out, but I would expect it to be wrapped up by now. Especially as he already has the story written, or so I thought I read here, and just needs to fit it into the game.

He said he's still working on it 3 weeks ago on his patreon.
He's aware people think it's taking too long, but want quality to be keep being the main goal about his work. He's not that much present here, that's all.

Despite being a bit disapointed about the lack of news, like the whole majority of the people here, I always believed devs not promoting their game and not talking too much about it are the ones who actually bring the best result at the end.

As you could compare CDprojektred and Bethesda, with Rockstar for example....

I may be wrong, but I have a good feeling about it, he works in silence and we should hold with patience, after all, it's a lot of work to be done as a lone dev.

I'm really focusing on wrapping up the Donnie plot with this release. I think we can all agree he's worn out his welcome. The question is how does Stacy plan to get him out? And will she be successful? You'll just have to wait and see!

You need to download the Mac version then unpack and open it. If it doesn't work with just opening, you need to fix the permissions, but it might not be worth it, due to the incompatibility of the RPGMV core with macOS.
the game might crash on startup inbetween 30 seconds. If it runs after that, you won't have problems.

To correct the permissions, do the following:
Open the Terminal by holding command and pressing the space bar. Type "Terminal" (without the "") and press enter.
Type (also without the "" and notice the empty space at the end!) "chmod -R +x " <- space after +x! And then drag the games executable into the terminal window, so it completes the path. Then press enter.
After that, you can start the game.
