The moral debate of ripping off another person's assets aside, at least for me, it doesn't help sell the game. Basically he just swapped time travel for "enhancement". So for anybody who's played Lust Theory, you're asking them to complete a different grind/gameplay loop in order to achieve a result you've already achieved.
If I try to pretend I haven't played Lust Theory and seen all the renders already, the dialog isn't great, the repetition loop to build up "force" isn't great, the UI isn't great, the "minigames" with no instructions aren't great. Sure, I've played through worse. Except in those cases it was to see outcomes I hadn't seen before which I'm not going to get here. Plus lets be honest, even by porn game standards the plot/core concept is weak. It's like the dev went out of his way to be specific about anything.
MC has some sort of serious but unspecified illness. OK, fine, whatever. He makes a deal with the devil (or whatever), ok, again whatever. Said devil/spirit/whatever says he has his memories. He knows who the family member are and their names. But has literally no idea how literally anything works other than he's going to need "force" to do the needful. OK, we're going Star Wars, fine whatever. How do you get more "force"? Showering and sleeping apparently in theory leads to you having enough "force" to grow a massive penis and presumably "tricking" everyone to have sex with you at some point.
It's like the dev went out of his way to avoid calling it "magic" or "superpowers" and how those things commonly work/develop without really having a plan on some other way to explain it.
I'm sorry but the renders is the main thing the game has going for it and he stole those. Most of the time a remake (IE any of the Big Brother ones) is either trying to fix common complaints with the original engine and/or story or complete an abandoned game. This is doing neither, it's just reusing renders to make a worse game.
