It bears worth stating that the first half hour of this game is one of the best, most atmospheric vn experiences I've ever seen. I just wish it had maintained that congruency and tight pacing and writing throughout, somewhere along the line it devolves into....ok guess I gotta hurt some girls again and fuck some asses again.... sigh....

If by first half-hour you mean the prologue, I agree. I feel like the game would've been much better as a VN about a burgeoning thruple who occasionally fuck like animals in the wilderness instead of all this LOST-style bullshit.
It's hilarious that people still think the prologue was the best part of this game when it was actually the worst. Letting the game start with some NTR shit when the game evolves around male domination was the worst idea possible.

At least there was no real NTR here, because it was you (MC) who fucked your buddy's girlfriend, not he who fucked yours. But nevertheless, yes, some players were repulsed by even such a faux NTR. But overall, given the specific "forest" setting of this game, the plot twist seems realistic enough. A hike, then something goes wrong and voila - the game begins.

Yes it was not real NTR, it was more more like sharing. We could make the point that there are maledoms who share their wives also, so even if it was MC's girlfriend it could still be considered "only" sharing/gangbang or whatever. I would agree the prologue and rest of game don't feel congruent... It just seems like there's some disagreement among players about which "true" theming they'd prefer. I'm biased because I'm not really into anal or whipping so I liked the first, but if the second had different sex themes I'd probably go with that.

I partly blame the forum staff for this who simply refuse to introduce new tags. It would make a lot of things easier if they at least introduced a "sharing" tag. Showing if a certain fetish is optional or not with a leading letter like "+" or "-" would be even better, especially for that futa crap, but a "sharing" tag would be minimum. Then everybody would know "NTR = sharing against MCs will" and "sharing= voluntarily sharing". But apparently it's too difficult to update a ten year old forum setup for today's requirement.

definitely agree with this, the tagging system just seems too lazy, numerous times people have suggested great ideas like a "primary" and "secondary" tagging system, or a way to say "these tags happen all the time in game, whereas these tags are present but very rare or avoidable".
For the ntr tag, I think it's just a matter of time - avns need to outgrow their japanese anime roots. Half the terminology is kinda legacy in this sense, like why are we using some silly japanese word in a game made by an american (presumably) dev, with english characters speaking english.
