Just wanted to hop in and say that aspiring new devs can learn a lot from this effort:

Small, self-contained story that's not too ambitious, or prone to scope creep and bloat, while still introducing enough conflict to be interesting beyond the porn.

It's a bit outside my normal kink zone, but when I sometimes think about starting my own project, this one is my go-to as a shining example of how NOT to bite off more than you can chew. Best of luck, DS23G!

Thanks for the compliments, but to be honest, I'm not completely innocent on the "biting off more than you can chew" part, as I did absolutely underestimate the rendering effort it takes to make the story diverge into three different routes. Then again, that was aslo something I didn't want to compromise on, so even if I knew the full workload necessary before, I wouldn't have changed it.

My words were not incorrect.

But, if you wanna get technical, yes, technically blackmail is rape. They are told do this or there will be consequences, and yes, if you make her think she has no other option, she will let you blackmail her. But, yes, that is a form of rape.
But, that doesn't have anything to do with the question I answered, or my answer to that question. lol

Playing the submissive path. Currently at the card game in basement.

I like the story set up. I like the characters and the writing in general. There is one thing that bothers me a bit. There is too much internal thoughts being shown. Some of it is inevitable and even helps in learning about the characters. However, it seems to be a little bit excessive here. You don't have to verbalize all their thoughts. In a game like this, their thoughts are often kind of retarded (comes with the territory lol). It's much better to show than tell. Slight arousal at seeing the penis can be more elegantly expressed with a render or 2. Things like admiring the body and stuff should be visually represented rather than writing out her actually thinking that. It's kind of absurd to be thinking that in the situation they are in, but some involuntary reactions can be shown visually. Also, constantly saying "like we have a choice..." and things like that makes the characters look dumber than what they could be otherwise. They do have a choice. There are a number of things she could try. The driving force in this path is the submissiveness and probably the trauma from the incident when she was younger. So her telling herself she doesn't have a choice is just lying to herself. She is just afraid for herself and her daughter. It's better to leave this unsaid and just show her emotions through the visuals when possible.

Regarding the internal monologues: I did definitely put more emphasis on them over time, one reason being some patrons suggesting it in the feedback survey I'm running. I can see why some people may consider it a little hamfisted at times, but then again, this story has been mainly influenced by exploitation flicks and corruption/NTR hentai, so being subtle was never much of an option. But I appreciate the feedback.
