Does anybody know what might be doing wrong?

No one knows which routes got updated, since the changelog stopped 13 versions ago.

I Recommend going to the Dev Twitter, the dev always puts the changelog there

there is but not here and also it's 12 gigs dl so 1.5-2 days dl unless has paid mega.

The Dev typically updates one path at a time, so there will be no new content on two of the paths.

Which is actually normal, but since the people sharing it don't share the changelog with it people will get confused.
you can see the changelog on the twitter page.The problem with the changelog is that when the new version will be posting here the guy who post it posting not the changelog too so the mods don´t wrote them in the op
