it's quite hard to do, and you need to be fast...i hope the dev make it easier...otherwise i'll never see the old sex scenes
I already dread the day where something big will be changed within the game's features that will make old saves incompatible and we'll have to do this section again.

It's been a while, but I think you can leave a space between the bombs and they'll still trigger. Also, line all of them up along edge before you push the first one over.

You could also go to where they specialize in transformation games and have a good list sorted by lots of tags.
No no... they specialize in gender swap games... which admittedly is what he's looking for. But usually that's the only transformation scene in the game and it's over by the second scene. The rest of the game is a pretty generic porn game usually.

Yeah I'm bitter. Some people like transformations themselves (the more perverse the better). Male to female tf is incredibly vanila on that scale.

Oh come on... it wasn't that bad. Use a controller instead of the mouse and it shouldn't be very hard. Or even just use the keyboard controls. The mouse is too imprecises and auto-paths too directly for when you need quick, fiddly movements.

Yes it definitely was and no I didn't use the mouse. Also, I'm not just talking about that one single puzzle. That whole section could have been alright had it been only half as long or so but the whole part just went on for way too long with pointless puzzle room after pointless puzzle room, making it become really dull and frustrating at the same time.
I love everything else about this game but I could've easily done without that part.

Lol. So was it challenging or was it pointless? Make up your mind. That's the point of puzzles after all... to challenge. The puzzles in most of these games are waaaay too easy. Frankly I'd like to see more sections like that.

It took me about five tries to get past the pictured puzzle. I'm not some super skilled gamer. Above average... Barely... Maybe not even that as rusty as I am. If it took you many more than 5 tries? "Git gud". Less and you're still whining? "Cry more".

Oh don't give me that git gud crap, I figured you'd say something like that. There is also no need to make up my mind either because what I said wasn't contradictory in the least. There's difficulty done well and difficulty done badly.
I'll just repeat what I've already, those puzzles simply went on for way too long and it became increasingly and completely unnecessarily frustrating. No amount of childish "git gud" and "whaaa stop whining" comments is going to change that. Why you're so butthurt about the fact that out of seven billion people on this planet, there are some who don't like the same things as you do, is beyond me.

I mean I won on all those defense puzzles first try just by bomb blocking and prepping new blocks at the appropriate distances.

The boss was a little annoying but as long as you took time to use a mana item or two and heal out of combat it wasn't a big deal.

I don't think its unheard of for an h-game to engage the possibility of loss. Regardless, I definitely agree with the puzzles taking too long. That's simply unappreciable in a game of this kind and should have never happened.

I didn't find them that hard, but for me it's 'what's the point'? I don't play Proteus for puzzles, and if he'd stuck 15 minutes of combat in there, I'd feel the same about that. Feels lot more like filler. And I'm more ticked about all the dev time wasted on that instead of funny game stuff, than the time spent getting through it.

If there's actually a purpose for it, that's something different. If there's some game over scene, or failing too many times makes a different scene path ok. Or in something like Amnesia, the devs mentioned it was to take a break from the tension letting the player rest so they don't get fatigued. Ok that's directed to the player more than the game, but still has a reason. Hell even stupid romances stuck in movies that have nothing to do with the plot, I can understand due to making more money (gotta go for that date crowd).

Dunno, sometimes I wonder if he doesn't realize how popular his humor is and thinks he need to give something 'more' to his players than just that, and tries to cram something in. When I think most would be perfectly happy with more of what he's already giving us. As for me his humor and design is so good.

Yeah same here, I like the game having some legit game chops, but he goes down rabbitholes with certain mechanics and actually pushes new people/fans away.

His writing is funny, and the characters are charming and well designed. He needs to just keep the story flowing for a bit.

This new update seems to have fallen prey to the same thing that happened last time except worse. I can only imagine he's designing a giant portal dungeon but is remaining tight-lipped about it. Anyone have any news?

Honestly pre-doom bunnies and post-doom bunnies feels like two different games entirely, the dev seems to want to use this game to develop their programming and design skills, but doing that is hurting the final product.

Pre-doom bunnies the writing was great, the humor was pretty good, the characters made sense, the sexual situations had good pacing and nice tension, and the story was moving along. On the other hand the gameplay was weak, the combat was too grindy and too simple, the dungeon puzzles and mini-games could have been a bit harder but they were still fine.

Post-doom bunnies the gameplay was improved greatly, the combat is still a bit too grindy for my tastes but at least it has some depth, the puzzles and mini-games have some challenge to them now and I enjoy it, although I do think the dev is overdoing them, at least in terms of length.

The writing on the other hand has been getting worse, the humor is still good, but the characters have been flanderized, MC went from being clumsy and an underachiever with potential to being actually retarded, half the time spouting dumb stuff just because "LoL rAnDOm" and the other half incapable of understanding or caring about sexual situations; Ana went from being a strong woman with some insecurities and a chip on her shoulders to being a raging, uncaring, and very arrogant person.

The sexual situations since the doom bunnies stuff started have all been basically this: MC runs into asshole character with "BULLY ME" written on his forehead, sex starts, MC acts painfully oblivious for the first half, and then painfully cringey for the second half, in the end none of it meant anything and the experience changed nothing about the characters.

Also, the story has stagnated, we will probably be stuck in ogremarsh for another 4 updates before even getting to talk with the leader, let alone getting close to acquiring his mcguffin we needed to continue the story.

Yeah I get what your saying about recent stuff being contrived. But I guess the creator wanted to get some different sex scenes shuffled in come hell or high water.

He mentioned before how Ana and Alex's relationship was never meant to be so central. But it became incredibly popular so he ran with it. Regardless, he said it would remain the focus of the game, but I think he feels Alex's idiocy (and dreams) are a good enough excuse to have him wander into strange dick every now and again. The mid sex downs clowning is too much though.

As for Ana, you're also spot on. She has always been intemperate. And while fighting a whole platoon for grab assing made some sense and led to some funny situations, her locking herself in her room until being lured out by a cupcake was janky. At least the taunt training was funny imo.

Basically said "I'm still working." Gave zero explanation on why this update has taken nearly half a year, and alluded that the lateness might have been caused entirely by two people complaining about it being three months late two months ago.

I'm glad he's still working, but I'm probably unsubbing from his patreon after this. Patreon isn't a charity, but enough of his stockholme syndrome'd fans are afraid of a full table flip and the game becoming abandonware that you won't get far letting him know that, and they'll fight tooth and nail to be given no explanation and say that he owes us nothing ever despite paying his rent for the exact opposite reason.

Moreover, he already crossed the "I will ban people for asking why the game is delayed" rubicon so there's not much to be done. Typically if things get spicy enough after that move the dev will actually table flip, and I'd prefer he didn't. I personally don't recommend anyone press too hard or he might actually have a hissy fit and piss off.

But when is the game coming out? As per usual, it could be tommorrow and could be in 2020. Stay excited!
