Will the Steam version include all future content for this game for free and update at the same time? Just I'd rather buy it there rather than pay per update.

It's a pretty standard model on this website: the free version/update is several versions behind the one that is purchasable on Patreon. In fact, it's been like that for this one for awhile, this isn't anything new. If you want to consume free content, wait for the updates to catch up naturally on this site. If you can't wait, fork over a few bucks on Patreon.

Yes, Steam will have all the updates, the difference is

Patreon/ Subscribestar: I release every month, even if things are not fully ready.
Steam: I will only release if things are ready (1.5~2 months)
