Lack of funding was never the problem.
I'd just like to drop my encouragement for the dev to continue working on this one as well. It's quite good. I hope everything is going well for you and you even have the opportunity to continue working on this.

Well as a matter of fact, OUR (Russian) government DIDN'T sanctioned our ppl. Western governments did. They cut of VISA, MasterCard and SWIFT, also a lot of other platforms left our market for the time of crisis. We still have Boosty thou (smth like a patreon if i am correct, but idk about thier policies regarding porn/adualt games and so on also idk if it just our local platform).
(I am not justifying the Dev's lack of activity here. It just pissed me of that you wrote that shit about our governmnt out of the blue. There was only 1 restriction - purchaseing currency and that thing was in the first days of that crisis.)
P.S. lol, just saw that my date of registration is 24 feb.

Install one of the patches from the OP, but note that there's very limited content in the game anyway.

I downloaded the inchst patch + limited edition and nothing has changed that is it shows me the first 3 or 4 images and then I get the patreon message ... I simply put the patch file in the game folder where it is also the .exe file ... I don't know if I have the wrong folder or the patch file or if at this point they are forced to buy but it seems a waste to me since the project is abandoned

The .exe file for the game is not in the "game" folder, or it isn't supposed to be. It's in the top folder which contains all of the other folders, such as the "game" folder, the "lib" folder, and the "renpy" folder.
The file and folder structure should be like this:
>top folder
>>the .exe file
>>the log file (a .txt document)
>>the traceback file (also a .txt document)
>>the RR.py file
>>the RR.sh file
>>the game folder (Put the patch inside this folder.)
>>the lib folder
>>the renpy folder
All of this is on a PC. If you have a Mac, then it may be different.

Red Room is one of the biggest scams on Patreon. The game has not had a single sexual update since its initial release. Four years of zero updates, yet people still kept subscribing to her. Tells you something about the platform itself and the times we live in today.
The game had more sex in it's menu screen then in the game itself...
