Love you, brother. Both Lois and Kari are and have been on the non exclusive GF path in every play. I'm actually playing all of my LI as non-exclusive GF. Last play I specifically chose NOT to engage in either sub or slut at all and still had it forced on me TWICE, in play with and without the mod. Going to try a full restart from zero after I delete all current saves. Had errors that may be contributing to this so if/when I hit that error again, I will stop there and report it rather than ignoring it and playing through. But, I get that damned error in both modded and unmodded play which is why I plan to play a full, clean restart sans any prior saved games. I have made two full restarts already but there were prior saves stored. Not giving this game any more excuses. Getting tired of all the bullshit. Thanks for the kind words, my friend.

Both of those issues are fixed in the next build (0910).
Just to clarify, the build will be 0910, the release will be 0.9.10 and there'll be 0.9.11 to follow and later 0.10.1
Release 0.9.11 would be Build 0911
Release 0.10.1 would be Build 1001
I hope that makes sense!
If it's unmodded, message me with a save and I can usually fix it.
Otherwise, check the traceback and see if that sheds any light.

Sorry, I somehow ended up bypassing this when the little alarm/notification thing dragged me back to the start of the thread.
I have a million bases to cover and it is just me, so I can only focus on a limited number of things at a time. There's been a lot going on, but spotlight will be back on Kari and her sisters for the next week or so.
It's not just a matter of writing the words and banging out a few renders. Some options require a lot more preparation than others,
For example if MC wants to have kids with Kari and her sisters, they need somewhere bigger to live. I could buy a somewhat suitable model for $100+ and still have a lot to do, or I can build one. Given that I'm out of work due to the writers' strike, guess which choice looks better right now?
Then there's the matter of bring more girls into the apartments/condos. Each one has to be furnished and given little tweaks so they don't all look exactly the same.
That's also another reason why MC doesn't often call on the girls at home (he really ought to have gone to Lois's place by now).
By the time Lois gets back into action, I should have the modeling done for the new building that would house MC, Kari and her sisters and Lois if they are on appropriate paths.
I fully admit Lois's girlfriend/mistress options could use a little more love. We'll get there eventually.

Any endgame plans? If this particular game is going to continue indefinitely as a serial (e.g., Build 3714 released in May 2026) then I may not stick with it. Is the end of the story something mapped out (at least in your head) in a more concrete way than Game of Thrones ever was?

I have a special place in my heart for Kari, and the other K-sisters are definitely growing on me, but Lois is my alpha female (no reference to the Greek alphabet cult downstairs), my 'final boss'. The way that crazy doctor tells it, MC needs to have babies by the dozen! Something about gathering T-cells from the afterbirth... sounds sick to me but I won't pretend to be a doctor or scientist... At least that gives Mallory the perfect job opportunity, nursery manager and resident wet nurse. The elements are all in the game at present and ready to go. Helping the sisters care for the growing number of children will give Mallory a renewed sense of purpose and belonging in the family that she never had before with MC's uncle. Also, feeding babies instead of a machine, she won't need to be on the machine nearly as much, just to make bottles for storage so MC and Mallory can actually have some intimate time... the kind that MC dreamt and fantasized about in his teen years before being shipped off to military school.
I actually give a shit about these characters. They are particularly well written, even exceptionally so considering that this is essentially a porn game. To toss aside all of the love and effort that went into these characters for that sake of some kink, especially a BDSM kink, is ridiculous IMHO. I don't like it one bit. Give me MY Lois... the one I met and with whom I fell blissfully in love. togs-games, I hope you see this and heed it's wisdom and warning. This has been one of a relatively few games here on F95 that I am truly interested in (I have a couple of 'guilty pleasure' games, but I don't care about them like I do my 'interesting few'). An interesting story & plot, good writing narrative & dialogue, high-quality graphics, and not requiring me to engage in content with which I am not comfortable are important to me, and The Roommate has thus far checked the appropriate boxes for me, though I've been a little concerned with the direction recently, too. I'm hoping that the new content for the Lois sub/slut paths doesn't crowd out new content for the non-exclusive girlfriend path, and that she doesn't stop being a valued professional to the MC.
Can you get Kari to stop working at the twisted kilt???or will there be a time you can have her stop working there in a future episode

I will say that I gave up on READING GoT because I couldn't keep the characters straight, so it is ironic that some people have said the same of The Roommate!
There are definite ends to some of the story arcs and to certain characters' participation. Some will leave outright, others may fade into the obscurity of the background. I suppose one benefit of the digital form is that I won't have to pay if I want an old favourite to make a special guest appearance!
But I don't foresee an end for the game overall. I suppose I am my own primary audience and I still enjoy playing it as much as i do making it.
I do envisage wrapping up the current game in the not-too-distant future and moving to a "Chapter II"
That would allow me to do a number of things including tidying up the code base before moving the story forward again.
The idea would be that existing players would continue seamlessly.
It would also give me a chance to clean up the existing game and maybe release it on steam, which I'm being encouraged to do in other quarters.
And I could come up with a better name!
But if you're hoping to see a "final episode" that wraps the whole thing up, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed.

As Ashley said, she'll kind of have to once she's visibly pregnant.
But having Kari continue to work there, after a somewhat ominous first day, was a sign of her growing self-confidence (with Aria's encouragement and tutelage).
The challenge going forward is to let her continue to blossom while also coping with motherhood.

Greetings someone know how to instal the Walktrought mod? I know I must extract on the game folder of the game but was tryed that and noting, probably doed some error from my side, someone can explainwith detail the stepps to do that?
