How do I use cheat menu plugin? The game doesn’t have a www folder. Or better yet, does anyone have a full save for 0.44?

You can only use the cheat menu plugin for souls anyway. Every other value you'll have to find through Cheat Engine by searching for RPGMaker VX values. You install the plugin by making a www folder and putting the js folder in it then running the patcher. Once it's done, take the js folder out and delete the www folder.
How do I search VX values? If it’s the y=2x+1, that doesn’t work. Can’t find souls, erosion, or even HP.

Search for it in the cheat engine forums and you should find the formula and a guide to install it
So I input the RPG VX type as a new custom type in cheat engine, but still can’t find any of the values. Is there some setting I’m supposed to enable?

I can't help but feel like this game is artistically brilliant but total garbage in every other sense. I adore a roguelike but the extent to which you can just get unlucky and get bodied by some combinations of enemies is... infuriating. On the second boss I had a first attempt that got super close, and a second attempt where I got bounced around into an inescapable little nook then had my head caved in by the cannon attack. I'm used to some frustration but jesus christ, I've never said "oh please fuck right off" to a game as often as this.
More importantly though, WHY is this a H-game? It's not meshed into the story, the world, or even the gameplay. It's just something tacked on with the most generic writing imaginable. You're expected to go from sweating over every step for fear of getting RNG-dunked to fapping over a brief animation of cowgirl sex before going back to sweating? I've tried a lot of H-games but I've never seen one as totally genre-confused as this.

This isn't a traditional rogue like. The crafting is the main form of challenge.
If you want help on the second boss, I recommend making maid uchigatanas and having a lot of explosives. Spam throw explosives on the main body and the boss goes by super quick.
Regarding the erotic integration. They're aiming to sell the game on steam so they're scared of making the game heavy in eroticism. Tons of games are light in eroticism while others are light.
I will say this. I don't fap to h-games. I just like feeling aroused so this design doesn't really bother me.
It's straight up a lewd Mystery Dungeon game, which is legendary for RNG screwing you over. I'd argue that this one's lenient by comparison, even, since the RNG can also save you if you stumble on soul drops or erosion circles, or with good parries, you can quickly get busted as all hell once you master the crafting system and if you stockpile soul drops you always have a "oh fuck" button in the cursed sword. Not to mention Focus (parry up the wazoo) and Haste (you get two actions before the enemy's turn) being absurd status effects that you can easily acquire using skills. Try ehancing a good weapon with a Focus potion to increase the parry ticks and then use haste and enjoy how quickly your parry rate ramps up.
As for the h-game content, that's just what GoR games are. It ain't for everyone, tbh, but it's not exactly new to hgames?

Maybe lenient by comparison, but it doesn't make it any more enjoyable. The RNG can save you, but the only buff traps that I've appreciated were erosion reduction and the vast majority of traps were major fuck-yous that have lost me runs with zero counterplay. I was backpedaling from a crowd and just barely hanging on using a rapier and focus potions then stepped on an explosion trap and died. I think what escalates this game even further into unreasonable is the insane inventory limitations that just make every element of the game worse. Then the crafting is more frustrating than novel because my attempts at documenting all of the recipes only revealed that there's RNG in that too.
As for the h content, I just think it's a total waste of effort. I don't even know if I could call it lewd. I saw the vampire and thought "Oh ok so there's something different, what's their porn like" only to find that it's just vanilla sex as well but with 'minion' in the dialogue.
Ultimately, absolutely not a game for me. If I wanted to play a non-porn game, I'd play one far better than this. If I wanted to play a porn-game, I'd play one far better than this.

I can make it through the dungeon and reach the rest points literally every time. Even if I enter the dungeon with nothing.
I don't think the RNG is that BS. You're guaranteed a certain level of materials depending on how deep you are, and defeating strong enemies grant you a lot of souls for crafting. The further down you go the stronger the weapon you can make and that's got nothing to do with RNG. It's guaranteed.
Enemies ganging up on you can be pretty annoying but you can deal with that if you position properly, like moving to an entrance point and fighting the enemies one at a time.
Either way, the only parts of the game I'd say are challenging are the bosses and even then, the challenge is just coming up with strategies based on your crafting knowledge. If you try to just go straight up and fight relying solely on your stats as a fighter of course you'll lose. The game's called Cursed Blacksmith, not Cursed Hero, or Cursed Warrior. Making strategies based on your blacksmithing ability is how you're supposed to beat tough enemies.
Oh I get it. Dude if you're more into maledom then just say so. Ason's done a femdom focus for their previous game as well. If you don't sexually jive with the game that's fine. It's just not for you sexually. You should look at those tags before playing I'd say.

I'm not into maledom at all, I just like my porn games to be porn-games, not simply games that happen to tack on porn. Like I started off kinda hyped because the tone of the game is so melancholy, and that can be intensely erotic if it's used, especially for femdom. The detail to which I could go on about how porn games have the potential to be uniquely erotic is a little bit embarrassing if I'm entirely honest. To reuse the vampire example, I expected she'd go bloodsucking or something. Or, even cooler, uses some kind of lewd mind control as a potential attack. Integrate the lewd stuff into the gameplay rather than having it as an afterthought.
I feel like I'm picking a fight, let me just clarify that all I'm trying to say is that I strongly dislike the design of the game. I don't plan on hanging around and ruining the mood, only wanted to justify my opinion!

I've come to learn that not every game's mission statement is for everyone.
I think Ason wants to make a general indie game with optional adult content. Don't forget, the adult content is toggleable in this game. On a design level that means that the adult content should be completely removeable and the game still function like normal. This affects how they think about adult content integration.
I agree with this as well.
That's honestly what I'm aiming for in my project to a certain degree.
I will say if you want games with a stronger focus on the adult elements, you should play some more battlefuck games. They generally lean maledom since winning means dominating your opponent sexually, and they're rpgs so you know... you'll be winning 99% of fights unless you're missing half a brain, but they're not super maledom to the point that girls are getting fucked by animals or are in tears after getting gangraped. The fucking goes both ways so it's pretty middle-of-the-ground just leaning towards maledom because of the structure.
SLGs also try to integrate the adult elements pretty well into the gameplay. Simulation games have very light gameplay elements to start with, so the adult content does a lot of the lifting when it comes to enjoyment in those games. Games like Bronze5Box's Love Make Hotel for instance.
Traditional RPGs though, very rarely manage to actually get a good balance between adult elements and gameplay. Female protagonist games where the girl gets raped and dominated by various NPCs and wild animals though, try different systems like having the girl slut themselves out to random people or succubus drain enemies or whatever. Male protagonist games though tend to follow an even more traditional structure which leads to less sexual content.

Seems that your frustration with the adult content integration is bleeding into your perception of the game as a whole though. I don't think that's fair. The game is not bullshit in difficulty or unfair, I just want to make clear.
Can someone tell me how to find values when searching by rpg VX type in cheat engine? I added rpg VX type to cheat engine, but I can’t seem to find any values in this game. I can’t find HP or Erosion, I’ve gotten close, but always end up at 0 addresses found.

What's the strat to even beat the first boss? How much stuff am I supposed to farm? How am I even going to farm useful items and weapons with the way this game works? It's just a bit too hard for my tastes. I'm constantly making weak things with only 25 durability and the Elites aren't dropping stuff, so I'm getting really frustrated.

true enough most games cant really hit that golden ratio of gameplay+porn but those who can get close to it are pretty fucking dope as it not only heightens the pleasure gained from playing it and winning but also rewards with good sexual content which just repeats in a beautiful cycle. This game aswell has good gameplay but as was stated due to the porn being just optional its quite sadge though i could see ason if there was aaaaalooot of cryouts about the content being integrated he could just add it without a problem, though i guess thats not exactly his plan atleast not for now

sounds like you got some bad luck with RNG. for the first boss, getting haste or movement skills is super helpful in dealing with the summoning crystal early, as well as lets you avoid attacks/get some distance if you need it. The wind knife is a nice starter to go for, needing only 3/3/3 to be crafted. you'll want to break it and use it's scraps when enhancing a new one a couple times to boost the skill level. After that, I believe just setting aside a high damage weapon with damaging skills just for the boss is helpful. I don't think there is a tier 1 weapon with base light damage (its weakness), so just hit with with all you got. There were some explanations on the forging mechanics a few pages back so giving that a look would probably do some good.
This is the sort of game where you need to do a couple runs with a specific goal in mind to prep for the bosses. For example, explosives. people in the thread have been recommending it for the 2nd boss so much, it's practically necessary. But thanks to RNG, you might go through an entire dungeon run and not find a single one. so you might need to do a couple runs to gather items, a couple more to prep your weapons, then finally one where you challenge the boss. that's not mentioning the runs where you died partway through cause RNG dropped you in a monster house with several Elites.
