Thank you for giving feedback. The zoomed in style is just my style of rendering. I can see why some people won't like it - as it's probably not for everyone. In
The Spice Pirate I have made every render unique, so every time a character talks it moves in some form. This has most likely caused the twitching your talking about. In the earlier scenes I used more head movement to try and give the allusion the character is talking... however in later scenes I found myself gravitating towards changing the facial expression more and leaving the head still. I was wondering if you've played the entire release... do you prefer the style of the later scenes? Or perhaps all scenes seem twitchy to you...?
Dune is a great novel (and an okay movie...). Unfortunately the only dune reference is the name of the magical essence that is called Spice. There are other references to another movie (during the opening scene), but apart from that no movie/book references in
The Spice Pirate.
Thank you for the feedback
. I can see what you mean by the goofy smiles and O faces. I guess that's something I'll have to focus on improving for future Chapters. If you don't mind me asking a question...
Goofy faces aside, did you like the fact that while speaking the characters faces moved? Having the characters faces move between dialogue lines rather than having one render is something that I really want to focus on... so if I improved the facial expressions do you think that feature works well?
