It seems I can't also leave the village.
Edit: nevermind, I thought you could leave the village from the road near the bottom of the map.

Yeah game is in just the village

Okay final patch Sphen is back lol

Let me know. I think we good now

Man, NTR with Mind Control is awful. Why even go NTR then? Might as well just go corruption and thats it.
Thanks for the translation project, though.
Yeah I agree with this 100% this game would've been better without the NTR tag and Sphen all together Cuz I mean the NTR content here is very light. But Oh well...
It seems slapping and NTR tag on stuff in JP make them sell more I dunno.

Will she be able to safely complete her mission or will she end up completely hypnotized by the cult member and villagers?
I'm pretty sure its going to be the latter. Anyone want to disagree?

Hypnosis and oppai, going to be fun.

I'm happy to hear that you finally managed to fix the game, but I wanted to understand a thing, if I can derail the thread another little bit.
I thought I was finally getting what people consider NTR and what not, but I believe I'm back to day zero.
Here the main protagonist is the wife, her husband is barely present as a character, and as far as I can read he isn't stolen by some well-endowed black cow (as the gender-swapped version of the stereotypical well-endowed black bull). On the contrary, the MC is the one that is mind controlled/raped outside of the bridal lock.
Isn't Netorare the exploiting of fetishized jealousy? Here the player is supposed to be jealous of the POV character?
Shouldn't the tag be just "cheating", or maybe "corruption" as said by shiion1? Or the player should empathize with the cultists and the genre is supposed to be Netori?
I'm trying to understand what appeals to the different audiences, but it's much more difficult than I thought.

Good looking lass, btw.

Well it seems to me that there was(is) a trend in JP where just slapping an NTR tag on it makes it sell more. So what the end result is we get these games that probably would be better without it. Sometimes you can tell the author just isnt into the NTR thing that much.

In this case its kind of odd since the Dev is basically known for making NTR focused games so yeah its a bit odd that the NTR basically got sidelined for the Mind Control tag. My theory is that the Dev wanted to make a Mind Control game but they have an audience that buys their NTR stuff... So in order to appeal to their existing audience they just added in Sphen (her husband) lol. That's just a theory though... an NTR Theory. :HideThePain:

As is said elsewhere int this thread this is more a light ntr. Like is it technically still ntr, yes cause a loved one is being stolen, but as you said the male is barely even referenced so quite a few people wouldn't consider it ntr, hell get a few of the ntr haters in here and even they prob would like/wouldn't mind this game. However it is mentioned in the game and ntr while niche does make alot of money because it is so niche so it is quite often slapped onto games that barely even include actual ntr on dlsite, which I assume they basically just transferred over the tags from that site.

Sounds like a very convincing theory. So I'll go to sleep believing this is a case of mis/weak labelling and that I don't have to delete all I managed to understand and rebuild from scratch ;)

Good job with your translation TechnoParagon! Wind in your sails! :)

fem protag games should not be tagged with NTR unless there's a POV switch at some point. doesn't matter if it says NTR on dlsite, on f95 it's used exclusively for when the player is getting cucked. it's doing nothing here except scaring people off on behalf of a barely existent husband NPC nobody cares about.

Is that true? First I am hearing of it, I mean it makes sense but this is the first I am hearing about the NTR tag guidelines?

I am not against removing the NTR tag to not scare off people. But it still says NTR in the promo images lol, I'd have to take new screenshots etc And the Title of the game give NTR vibes, there is not much I can do to remove the NTR vibes

We can divide MC (main characters) into Male MCs and Female MCs. Even if the main MC is female, there might still also be a male MC in the game, even if he is completely in the background and barely even referenced. Even if 90% of the game revolves around a female character, the most prominent "good" male character is the character a male player sees in themselves, or more specifically, their "good" or "ideal" side, their in, the most. So, the character a player identifies with is never a "mindless brute" or an entirely unethical actor (though he might act outside the law, e.g. like Walter White, he always has good reasons).

So it's possible to define netorare as any game/story in which the male MC gets cheated on by a sexual partner and/or one or several of his prominently potential partners has sex with someone else (specifically someone less "good" or "ideal", someone more wild, strong, animalistic - representing the player's id, their animalistic, non-ethical side). Basically, netorare is about the super-ego getting bypassed and defeated by the id.
