Please help, I want to install a new save but when I overwrite the old save in the directory and open the game and load it shows only the image of the three women with no slots to load from.

I did all that, but when I go back to the game and click load there are no slots to load from. Just the image of the three women standing there.

It happens when the save is either currupted or is incompatable to the version of the game you are playing
As long as you downloaded the latest version of the game and the saves from the related links, you should have no problems.
I'm about 150 days in but I've only just started the Kira bit with catching her in the shower and getting her to do photos with Julia, I was on the bit to get the Cheerleader outfit to get a pic of Julia but now when I talk to Kira I get "Talk about the debt" which looking at the walkthrough is from about 200 steps ahead of where I am, what's happened?
edit: also it says get cheerleader costume but I also don't seem to be able to ask Adrianna for it?
I've had a look with cheat mod and her Maths quest is set to 100007? her other quest is set to 13, I tried setting to 0 but when I talk to her I still get "photoshoot" and "talk about debt"

You really need to follow the walkthrough pretty closely for this game.
You have a few option open to you here.
1) start a new game and follow the walkthrough.
2) keep playing and circle back to Kira later.
3) grab a save for where you are currently and continue with your game.

This game is marked as complete, but those who played until the end will feel incomplete.
Just go to the hospital and talk to the receptionist to understand this.
I think Dev got tired of this game and wanted to start another one, because on the game map there are still empty houses that could continue the game.

It's a great game that I recommend you give a try, but due to Patreon's policies, the age of the main character has been changed, making him a poor guy with dwarfism.
It's unfortunate that KsT's plans have changed so much due to Patreon's policies and the demands of their backers, but that's the nature of being an amateur developer.
Nevertheless, let's think of it as meaningful that we somehow managed to complete it.

Unfortunately for me I don't know how to download the game without risk of a virus honestly I don't know anything about computers. Wow, This VN been completed? I was on this for quite some time in the beginning. Once a few things had changed that the saves and etc doesn't work quite well for last two years. I had decided to wait until this VN was completed before checking it out again from the beginning. Oh, yes, I know KST does provide the text walk through, that is very important to have since without it, (like other posters comment) we would be lost and never be found.
Well, I better plan to check this out after downloading it.

If you don't want to download anything because of the virus risk, I think you can keep your computer, because it's impossible for you to surf the net without viruses.
The difference is in the severity of the viruses.
Not even the best and most expensive antivirus in the world guarantees 100% security.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I believe that the antivirus manufacturers themselves make a new virus to force people to buy the new update.
Otherwise how would they make money and become millionaires?

Most of the time it is recommended that you follow the walkthrough to the letter if you don't want to risk locking yourself out.
Most people wish to have majority of the items to be compatible to their own needs, however there will be a number of items that will not meet their needs. There is a limitation for Joyplay to allow user to be able to run application that normally not available for Android system. There are other possible ways you could be able to try this VN without having some major concerns. Here are few possible ways:
1. Accept the risk, download and execute the application * recommend to have at least one antivirus program to scan the files.
2. Setup a virtual machine and put the application in there to execute
3. Use an older computer that is not being use as much, execute the application
4. Could buy a cheap computer, since number of computers become cheaper over the years. Most VN can run on low end computers without any major concern.
* There are other alternate ways to test application if you do not want to run it on your daily system.
Regarding to system virus (there are so many types of virus), it a risk for anyone to get it on their devices (Windows, Linux, Unix, MacOS, iPadOS, iOS, Android, and other operating system). If you are not comfortable with the application or site, then don't execute the program or go to the site.
You are not the only one who do not know much about computers and/or smart devices. You may want to reach out to the developer if they could check if their application could support android or so. If I understand correctly that Unity could be supported in multiple operating systems. I have some application on android and iOS devices that supported by same vendor's application. If not, then keep eye out over time, maybe there may be someone who may have converted this VN to Joyplay or have step by step process how to convert it yourself.
