@Steve Carter Yep, agreed, I think a lot of people feel 'threatened' by those games as if their fragile self-confidence and ego will shatter if that occurs. Either that or the 'entitled' crowd who feel they should have access to all content and all content should be 100% exactly like they want it to be. As I said, I don't like NTR, since I tend to empathize with an MC if the story is good and seeing all these stupid "bimbo" or weak personality female characters makes me gnash my teeth (mainly because I don't do well with stupid people), but I respect a creator's thought to make the game how they want.

Of course, as a consumer I control what I purchase or support with my funds, so if I don't like how a game changes, even if I loved it before hand, means I just drop it and walk away (like when these idiot singers inject their personal views about life into their concerts, etc).

@DrSmith Yep, so many of the older scenes in the game need a serious "if/then" or some type of flag so after certain other events occur the dialogue updates. Now you see a character act like they did before anything started in the story (Julia in the pool) when the story has progressed way beyond that. As mentioned, one release needs to be a re-do of ALL scenes in the game to add this type stuff and then going forward have all new stuff be built the same way.

Which is how it should be. If you don't like certain content then vote with your wallet. If you try to suppress content that other people like artificially all you'll end up doing is create a shortage and when a content creator is brave enough to not be affected by the bullying and make that content then they will probably end up doing very well financially. Also if there is a shortage of certain content then those who like that content will be more likely to support that content financially to encourage more to be made.

Looking at Big Brother's page on Patreon, Dark Silver seem to be doing very well despite what some consider to be NTR content in their game. If there were more creators with NTR in their games then you might have actually seen a noticeable drop in their Patreons when the supposed NTR content was added from the people who's deal breaker is NTR content but since Big Brother is one of the few games providing something resembling NTR content then there will be a large number of NTR fans that will support it. You'll see much more influx of people supporting it than people leaving when that type of content appears just due to the people who enjoy the content having limited alternative options of games to support.

It's a basic rule of economics, if you try to make something scares when there is a demand for it then whatever it is becomes more profitable to sell.

Personally I think that someone willing to make a quality NTR western style game with a solid story premise on Ren'Py or Unity would clean up. Everyone seems to be jumping on the incest bandwagon because that seems to be what's popular now. Someone that gets known for their NTR content and not intimidated by the anti NTR crowd could create their own little niche market.

Play Refugee Quest, the me me that dared to become a game
I've never played it. I was thinking something with more of a simple premise though. Just take something like Hot Wife Tara on Playforce One, or other games from LOP like Hot Wife Story 2, Casino of Passion, and expand on it or mix and match ideas. Have a simple story like a wife and a husband out on a date night and things get a little crazy. I personally think just taking the premise of Hot Wife Tara and just making a larger game out of it would print someone some money.

If you had a niche NTR market I'm sure you'd see less and less NTR content in the mainstream.

You just described the entire LOP website, lol.
You can download the entire LOP catalog somewhere on this site. Of the 200+ games I'd estimate there are about 5-10 that have NTR content (where you play as the male MC and are being cheated on by your woman).

Lesson of Passion. If you're specifically looking for the NTR content you'll want to look at Living With Temptation (with the Wife Gone Wilder expansion), Living With Temptation 2, Hot Wife Story 2, Club Velvet Rose and Hot Wife Tara. There are a few others but the names escape me.

If you broaden your definition of NTR to include being a female MC that cheats on her boyfriend/husband then you'll have a lot more content to choose from.

But we are way off topic here so this will be my last post on this matter.

cant help but notice this has gone far beyond from being a discussion over a specific game (the twist) and turned into some kind of a philosophical view on adult games in general, or at least those regarding ntr directed content.

not that i mind the brain excercise through argumentation, but i do believe this may be best suited in a separate thread so as to not extend further this specific thread with things that aren't necessarily relevant to this game in question, and also where you could be able to discuss it more freely.

my 2 cents.
