It was good. Almost fucked it up by not finding the money in the drawer in the study. I will say it feels weird to start a relationship with Rebecca that literally goes no where because you immediately settle things with Joanna. I haven't read this entire thread but it sorta feels like the creator had more ideas and then cut it off. Either way good game, 4/5 stars.

p.s. The sex scene with Taylor is HOT . Wish there was more with her. Maybe even a "sequel" where she cheats on her boyfriend with you more. Oh well.

The game ends with it all turning out to be a come dream, and Mrs Hunter isn't the MC's mother at all. She's either Nurse Hunter or Doctor Hunter who's been taking care of him during the coma.

It's not a last fuck you, it's an aspect of the story line woven by Ishtar or Inanna or whatever she's called in the game, the goddess. It's all her plan to gain worshippers. The coma protagonist's family are the same family that you see in the photographs indicating that he is adopted, as he says. It being a coma dream explains the ridiculous speed at which he seduces women and the importance of not alienating his "mother". In the Wish 2, Dr Hunter works at the hospital and will be part of the game. At the end of the released version, the new protagonist is in hospital having been knocked down by a car and put into a coma, where he meets Ishtar.

We had The Wish assets backed up and so I started The Wish 2 because the work I had done on the Beneath a Neon Sun code could be utilised and Ren'Py has improved to match my UI ideas. Ideas like flashing cursors on hotspots to indicate something of interest (like KGB/Conspiracy), right clicking to change the action, etc.

I'm not as good a 3d artist (and the render server I used to use has shut down so it takes ages to make images) but I'm a better coder so hopefully The Wish 2 is less buggy and frustrating for players than the original release of the Wish.

Btw if you are releasing the sequel anytime soon be sure to release in MOPOGA.

there was a prequel out for "the wish2" entirely different story, where mom from previous story is a dr. and mc gets stuck staying with current mom because of dorm fire again..... don't recall anything else, or any updates
