Hmm, so I rushed to level 12 infamy and got the event, but now I think there's a bug, or maybe I'm just reading the Runglish wrong. So I infiltrate the castle, meet the alv, don't call her out on her deception, learn of the alv's deception from dark sister then attack the dark sister, then on my way back to the alv, I'm forced to turn on the peasant girl and forced into helping the alv? (which is a early game over too!) I'm just trying to get the peasant since I have enough alves alreadyYep. I'm more used to the code-internal name of it.
Yeah, apparently Eliont somehow missed porting over all the other things that you could do with the mad elf. Mainly killing and screwing her, of course. Will add those back in.then on my way back to the alv, I'm forced to turn on the peasant girl and forced into helping the alv?
Some people like it.which is a early game over too
But it's a unique elf! Anyway, getting the fiery peasant is possibly the most unintuitive path you can take in that quest.I'm just trying to get the peasant since I have enough alves already
Thanks! Incidentally, Ravager is also problematic because he's internally still called 'juggernaut'. But that was a simple indexing mistake. Fixed.ravager is missing from from the bestiary listing in lair. shows up fine in the army of darkness though.
Tell me about it!But it's a unique elf! Anyway, getting the fiery peasant is possibly the most unintuitive path you can take in that quest.
Care to share? I have some plans to look at the original DW of doing names at some point, but it's pretty low-priority.BTW, I was getting a bit unhappy with the amount of Japanese girl names that did not seem... setting-appropriate, so I replaced the random name list.
Yes. Use 'call load_random_names' or 'renpy.call("load_random_names")' from the console. Is it necessary to refresh the name database somehow?
Did you not read the warnings? 'Normal' does not mean what you think it means. It means "savescum, not your first time playing, or die".The balance here seriously needs to be addressed. Starting a new game on "normal"
Almost true, unless you start as a steel dragon. Then it's possible to beat the dog with some regularity. The more martial of the other colours can kill the mutt with savescumming, but it is an exercise in frustration. It's literally mathematically impossible for me to win.
The secret sauce is called 'minions'. Or starting as one of the bigger sizes. I'm also planning to add a 'screensaver' difficulty for people... well, maybe not quite like you.So unless there is a secret easy starting area that I've missed that's it.
Literally just went to this link:Care to share? I have some plans to look at the original DW of doing names at some point, but it's pretty low-priority.

either go hire some goblins/brigands or save scum for food encounters in the countryside (geese) or alven forest (fox, rabbit). later on there's also deer in the forest but you need to be a certain size. also if you have blue head/scale you can get really common tuna events which give a whopping 40 (!!!) food without any infamy cost. The balance here seriously needs to be addressed. Starting a new game on "normal" I get 2 damage, 10 HP and every single enemy on the map also gets 2 damage (minimum) and more than 10 HP. It's literally mathematically impossible for me to win. And if I don't win I don't eat and than I die.
So unless there is a secret easy starting area that I've missed that's it.
Yeah, that one isn't going to work. I guess I might have to look around for more specific ones. You must be registered to see the links
Indeed. Nobles even had surnames, the greedy bastards. However, if you're actually going to work on this feature, then I suggest having different name lists for each race.
I think that's how the original DW had it...
Or most mainstream games, for that matter. This is some Darkest Dungeon level of player hatred here.you can't play this mod like the original game.

real funnyTake a guess. If you get it wrong three times in a row, a small red dragon will burst out of your computer and eat your face.
