Well, there's the lower limit of 0, i.e. the timers are not ticking.
She comes, can't swim, and goes back to preparing? That's the main perk of the grotto, why should it be 'fixed'?
Or it's a perk for the Thief, 'save-scumming' your lair.
As an aside, I got the ogre event done. Took a while, but I got another, rare ogre encounter out of it as well.

'_call_arena_X' is just a label for debugging. I'm increasingly not using it at all.
If you mean the fight backgrounds, these are in 'images/fight'. Just follow the existing naming convention of 'bg fight [mob_name]'.

Technically, there's the Free Peoples/Nations (humans, elves, dwarves, merfolk and giants/titans), and the Kingdom only comprises of humans. You'd know this if you'd watched the intro (or played Defiler Wings).
Edit2: The dragon doesn't discriminate, though. He'll happily kill/rob/rape anyone regardless of race.

Yo, you mind if I steal some of your ideas (evolutions, combat instances, renpy stuff) and attempt to make my own visual novel, one without pornographic elements and a much greater focus on the sea and stuff? I will not credit you in any way, as I would like to be outsted as someone who plays interactive pornos, and I would not code for the sake of profit, instead to make something that I can play myself and share with others. I'mma attach my coding work on this game so far, so it is not wasted and you can take what you want. I'm pretty sure you have most of it already, but some is stuff I polished a bit more, and Iadded a lot of new things, the one I am most proud of is the Primal Siren encounter that is 117 lines of unplaytested code. TBH I'm note sure why I am asking for permission, but you did help me learn the Renpy software and gave me few resources, so I want to give you a tad of respect. I'll also include my notes and guides that I wrote down. If I get the urge to, I'll try to createa mod or two for later versions. Hopefully you never find out my name nor my game.

When I downloaded it, it gave me the message "unable to expand into downloads" (Error 1 - Operation not permitted). What's that about?
Got it. The problem was I was using Archive Utility and not Unarchiver. For some reason the first one doesn't give you the option of entering the password.

Overwrite the files like this:
- 'skills' directory in 'game\content' (no overwriting there, actually),
- landmark.ini in 'game\db\phrases',
- phrases.ini in 'game\db',
- help_eng.rpy in 'game\_script\utility',
- the three rape_X.rpy files in 'game\_script\rape' (but these are really not very compatible with the current release, so use them at your own risk, and be ready to search this thread for issues and solutions).
