Here is the other thing, the MC makes the assumption that Nika will lose herself if she goes back to the correct timeline. The problem with this is that the Travelers do not lose their memory, just the ones they affected. So it is entirely likely she will be rescued as a 40ish year old version of herself, which the MC is not realizing, and Nika is wrestling with a false set of assumptions. That is, unless they go back to her origin date and rescue her then. The MC has plenty of info to do that including where she will be living. So if they want a young Nika with her life wiped out, that is where he goes. If she wants to keep herself, and go back to the main timeline time of origin, she will come and give Juli and Heather a run for the super MILF title.

Huh. You make a very interesting point.
Honestly, can't wait to see how it develops. Timestamps is good in the sense it has time travel without being (or at least, I thought) needlessly convoluted.
