my pc is shit. It can't recorded clearly. I need the animation. Thats it.

So, animation do not run smoothly for you? What are your computer's specifications?

The animations should play fluid on an old Windows 7 system with 4 GB RAM.

I've played one version of game where Nika was the Main Character. It was cool, I've played three hours playing with her boobs and then I went to sleep. In the following day I was in 1975 and lost. At least I saw Star Wars: A New Hope four years later on it's premiere, but I couldn't figure out how I could keep playing the game.

Then I returned to this present timeline after a big explosion ala ending of Marvel's Big Events, and I saw that the Nika Timeline got rebooted and no one ever will play that version. No one instead of me - and I saw what Bacon did, and that was so evil that not even Evil Morty would think in something like that.

Bravo Team! You guys have guts of the size of Jupiter.

Bwa ha ha haha Jokes on you.. It was released THREE weeks ago, but a space/time rift caused the the upload to be sent to the late Paleolithic period and so (with NO computers existing) it was lost. We must now wait for the rift to close before it can be RE-released. -SIGH- Evil time/Space Rifts.

Just a thought.

Is unity more complex and hard then ren'py? Some ren'py games like Midnight Paradise have been update every one month and a half. The graphic of Timestamps is amazing, but i like MP too, so I don't understand

Nothing to do with the game engine.

It depends on how many scenes and how many renders an artist produce. Then you need to consider that artist are human beings and not machines. Means, different artist produce less or more images or need more or less time to produce them.

Then there is the writing. Most of us are not English native speakers and therefore writing takes more time for us then perhaps for Lewdlabs. Yesterday we posted on Patreon and Discord that a new writer joined our team and that he took care of fixing the dialogues for RL4.

Sometimes little changes in the dialogues require one or two additional renders, which Motkeyz has to render (including postwork with Photoshop).

I remember MP also started with Unity
but since the developer and the team did not make friends with the engine, they returned to Ren'py.
In the case of Timestamps, the team has Aesouh, the developer of VNgine (based on Unity) who provides technical support

That's why it looks better than most 3D games, and also why it takes more time. I suppose it's not just using the same 3 filters on each image, but could involve localised blur, sharpen and noise work, and maybe more time-consuming stuff like fixing current mistakes in 3D like masking an entire object or character to move it in a correct position, or fixing clipping 3D objects.
Btw I've been using Photoshop professionaly for more than 20 years so if you need help on this front I'm available for hire
