FYI to anyone interested, I was able to get a view of the actual game to make it playable by changing the resolution In-Game from the default to a lower resolution setting.

That's weird, what did you set it to? What kind of monitor do you have? Cause the game is designed for 1920x1080.
Glad you got it working though, but maybe it has to do with an intel or so driver doing "graphics dynamic scaling" or something similar.

For everyone that get black screen at the start of game, just istall Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 x86 ...

Yes, it is in the install instructions on the original post, and also the installer is included in the game folder in Unconditional Love_Data/StreamingAssets/

I gotta silly nitpick.
As an NBA fan, there's one thing that makes me go "uhh...wut??" about the game... How is the protagonist the captain of a college basketball team? He's = to or shorter than the woman in the game. Is he a shorter version of Isiah Thomas? Poor guys gonna get exposed at college level.

Which version to you have? The newest one 0.5.2 (Julia main menu) or 0.5.1 (Nika main menu)?

Same problem, ver. 0.5.2
She comes outside but I can not go anywhere from the map except back home.

On which path are you on (Hero or wimp path)? Did you use an old save file or did you start a new game?

Those guys had crazy mental toughness and athleticism. Very impressive, I'll give you that, but they still got exposed. It'd be even worse now. Most modern players are more athletic, skilled and better shooters than that era of play. No hand checking rules would make it even harder for shorter players like them to defend.
An average height PG like Curry would look like a giant next to them. No screens needed, just constant death from the 3pt line.
The main advantages the protagonist might have are lower passes and maybe easier steals? Harder steal from? Anything else?
