Thanks for your help. I use the Linux Build on Ubuntu 18.04 - minimal install. So I guess I miss a codec. Which one do I need?

I have the same exact issue. Grey-ish blank screen on the first bit of text. Game refuses to proceed from there. Intro and other stuff work fine. Is there a codec library we should install for this to run?

- The intro animation of Motkeyz and VNgine works?
- The main menu animation work? (Revamp has Wonderful Trio - you can change it in options)
- First animation in game in the kitchen (morning day 1)?

You really don't need it, press the h key and it gives you a hint and if you're unsure of the hint just click on it and it'll spell it out for you

- BUT the first animation in the kitchen IS NOT working. I have a white screen there

This is strange... All animations use VP8 codecs in webm container. Try to install VLC.

There is like 2 updates worth of new content. There's about an update worth of new content mixed into what was previously released, as part of the revamp. And then there is an actual full update once the old content finishes. You won't be disappointed.
