It's not at all just cosmetic, unless you consider new renders and animations and completely redone writing and engine just cosmetic.

And yes this is the final of chapter 1, but it is "to be continued" into chapter two of course

I were referring to the decisions we make during Ch1 and how they affect or not affect Ch2. I havent tested Ch1 final, because of that snail speed of MEGA ^^

it is up to you .. but I can tell you that the game runs on Windows 10. Here is what you can try:

I guess you have a corrupted windows update installed. Would not be the first time for Windows fucking settings on people computers.

Delete all newer VC_Runs (visual C++) you have installed (2015, 2017, 2018 etc.) and install Visual C++ 2015 64bit (for 64bit game build) or 32bit (for 32bit game build).
