In other games, saves work properly ...Strange, very strange. Have you had any other problems? Is your game by any chance in a hidden folder on your computer?

And for everyone else here the saves work properly as well, thats what i am trying to pinpoint what the problem is for you specifically. Is the game stored in a hidden folder or something like that?In other games, saves work properly ...
New engine.old saves not work RLY ................
So strange, i know cold was testing it and had no problems on his machine and he just reinstalled and tested it on a fresh ubuntu, I didn't get any errors during build either, it should have packed a 64bit. No idea why it packed it as 32 for linux. I am not really able to test on linux myself unfortunately, he will have to check when he has the timeReally appreciate that you guys made a native Linux build! Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work for me. The player.log file mentions that the included libwebp libraries are the wrong type (The include libwebp is for 32-bit systems/builds, but the uploaded build is 64-bit). Because of this, the game doesn't display any of the images. Movies work fine though, which was a surprise
Here's a sample from the log file

Well I'll dick around with the build some more tomorrow and see if the fault is at my end. As you've posted previously, Linux builds are understandably a low-prio feature, so no need to bother the programmers with this for now, Thanks! So strange, i know cold was testing it and had no problems on his machine and he just reinstalled and tested it on a fresh ubuntu, I didn't get any errors during build either, it should have packed a 64bit. Could you DM me a save, i'll see if i can look into it but probably can't today, are you playing this on the fan patch or the original? This night scene shouldn't come with a choice actually it should just go straight into waking up and then continueher's a screenshot of what I encounter when i woke up after ignoring the noises dunno if it should be this way.......or not

Did you try to run the game as admin ?The game doesn't save, every time I start the game there is nothing to load, the game starts over...
Yeah but I mean where you have your gameAppData folder is hidden
no its not in hidden folderYeah but I mean where you have your game
I really can't think of anything other than as they suggest run the game as admin. This seems more permission related than anything else.no its not in hidden folder
Thank you very much cold_arctus ! With your help, I was able to make the game works on Ubuntu 18.04. I had to remove the Ubuntu webp package (sudo apt remove webp) and manually compile and install the webp package from source :benok zitadoxoto
Ok guys I installed Ubuntu 19.04 on a VM and try the Linux build again. After building webp libraries etc.. the renders are viewable. Started a new game went to kitchen and the video was there.
I didn't install any extras or other programs just webp. Not sure if this is somehow related to your graphic cards drivers.
Still can't see saved filesI really can't think of anything other than as they suggest run the game as admin. This seems more permission related than anything else.
