Motel is available after you found the motel card. The card is in MC's home next to the front door in the hallway.

I managed to narrow it down! Whenever I use the "N" key for the house map Esc stops functioning. I can still open the phone but it doesn't have the menu, only messages and games.

Just downloaded Version: 1.0 PE P1 and the issue is still there. Thanks for pointing this fix out, because I was wondering why it worked sometimes and not other times.

Catalina needs permission to execute the game. Open Terminal.app and type:

chmod -R a+x [drag and drop game folder] - hit enter

Note: don't forget to leave a space between "x" and the dropped game folder.

You forgot to click on flag to select your language on the main menu.
