The biggest bummer for me is that even if the game gets updated, it's sexual content for the streamer girl.

I want the milf.

Don't even add new animations, just recycle existing animations in new sequences and pay the voice actors for maybe 10 new lines.
Like the activity where she's drunk and says "you've been staring at my boobs".
Even light teasing content is content compared to this absolute drought.

Erotic harem artists do this trick all the time, where the thickest woman in the harem -usually the resident milf- is the last to get sexual content to keep people engaged until the very end. I hope this team is doing this accidentally not intentionally.

Literally scroll up comments and you'll get your answer.

Tired of month after month the developer posting they are making progress on the game yet can't be bothered to actually post updates to the actual game that they are charging full price for on Steam. They can state it's in Early Access all they want but if you are charging full price for it, then release updates for it regularly as well.
While I can't comment on the early access part it's become too common I would say that steam isn't really on their mind that much Patreon is still the majority of their income.

While I do understand the issue don't also forget that there are plenty of RenPy games that take as much or even longer to release content for a lot more money and much less work. While it's just my personal opinion however it's better off releasing only major updates and keeping minor ones to fixes. Then again that is under assumption that the features will be released for all characters not only one. I'm not sure how many people they have working on this however probably safe to assume it's a minimum of at least 3-4 then again no real information available about the company which I assume isn't that unusual about Taiwanese companies. Doesn't help that they're using a name already used by others before.

The thing is, if a game is on Patreon, you pretty much know what you are getting yourself into donating money to its cause. You may never even see anything released or even if it is, nothing updated for it for some time as it is often times a one man team working on their own personal project. However, with Steam, you are usually seeing a product that is or will more times than not come to fruition. Also, with Steam, you usually will see routine updates being put out for any given game being worked on.

The funniest thing about this game is what they did release on Steam really is no more than a game demo. Can't imagine most developers releasing a game on Steam in demo mode is asking full price for it though. That's where I come with why isn't the developer releasing regular updates for it on Steam.

Even if most of their money is coming from their Patreon site, which I don't doubt that most of the people donating money on it are probably doing so at the minimum $1 level so that they get access to the monthly videos and comments that the developer routinely releases on it pertaining to the game's current development. From reading many of the Chinese commenters on Steam's Discussion board for the game, many of them indicate they can't even give money to PStation (as they so call Patreon's site) due to not having the means to convert currency or some such issue. That the game's developer would be better off using a native Chinese fundraising site other than Patreon so that more of the game's followers can help fund the development of the game. Supposedly there are more Chinese players awaiting this game than English speakers to begin with and based on the amount of Chinese comments that appear on Steam's Discussion board for the game, I can believe that as being true as well. Just not sure why Aurora Games doesn't decide to pursue this route in all honesty. Must have something to do with meeting Chinese requirements for the game to begin with, I imagine is all I can think?

My mindset though is, the developer is just using that they are a small team as an excuse as to why the development is so slow when in actuality if they wanted to speed things up, they very well could easily enough but just choose not to do so of their own volition. They've got fundraising goals on what they plan to do with the money they raise on Patreon. If they were actually diligent at reaching out to their primary Chinese audience, they more than likely would be much further along as far as reaching these goals is concerned. That or they are just so absorbed with actually developing the game and working on it to no end, they've no clue there is more to running a business than just devoting 99% of your time to working on the product itself.

Believe me or not however Steam pretty much doesn't care about that stuff. You can make something that can barely be considered a game and post it on steam if you're willing to pay them the 100$ I think it was.
While sure they could release in multiple updates however let me ask you what would be the point in that. Assuming the next update will include cooking and sex and the story. The patch wouldn't really add much content for the players to go thogh which from my experience at least tends to cause more backlash than is worth it in the long run. Then again they complain either way.

While I don't know what your stance on Taiwan being as part of China I still see it as a country however politics aside if they really were in China they'd probably be in jail since China has a strict porn policy. They're from Taiwan while I get that google tends to just translate under Chinese since the only difference is that mainland China uses Simplified Chinese while Taiwan uses Traditional Chinese writing.

While I'm unsure of your regional pricing however for Europe it's 14.99€ which, to be honest, doesn't even feel like a full price while it might be it's a bit underpriced if it will be the final price. I've seen plenty of early access or just games in general that offered much less and demanded more for purchase.

Now if one is to assume that 1000 people bought the game on Steam and if you take into account that roughly ~11€ would be the middle ground they earn 7700€ after steam cuts their 30% and not sure how taxes are handled in Taiwan assuming roughly ~6200 after taxes. I assume they have roughly enough to pay one person their minimum wage for maybe 8-9 months rough guess from Patreon is that they probably earn enough to pay 1-2 people their wage assuming the majority of the subs aren't on 1$. Then again they only do a single post a month to probably make sure that people remain subbed.

Now, this is just a guess however based on what you wrote last if I were to assume they probably have no one from a business background and are most likely just primarily covering the coding and art department maybe audio, and outsource the rest which is beyond common in indie game development space. Then again no real way of knowing since I at least am unable to find any trace of that company apart from Itch.io profile.

Then again that would be just my opinion as a hobby/freelance game developer. To be seen when an update is released I guess.
But seriously I do hope they invest a little money and hack get voice acting from Cybervoice or Replica even those AI voices would sound better than the ones currently in the game. Somewhat wouldn't even mind Japanese voice actors doing broken English hahaha.

Feel free to take it with a grain of salt I'm just hoping they're or will become a decent studio.

This grinds my gears.
Wrote it partly seriously and partly not so seriously. It was meant as a joke. However, I was serious if it were about Summertime Saga. I still find it funny how they claim to have 3 more projects lined up on their website after this one is complete yet it's not looking like it will be completed for years until they're done milking the hell out of it. Can't say how it is on other projects however I would mostly just consider comparing the ones that actually have drawn art and not Daz content which would make the majority of them.

Either way my point is working on a game inside RenPy which is primarily meant for VN type of games compared to working on a 3D game inside Unreal Engine requires quite different skills and most often than not quite a few more people. Especially needing quite a good computer ... totally not looking at you Unreal Engine 5 I need a new GPU to use that damn thing normally ...

Just remember that the current $17.99 price figure on Steam only included the planned story and adult content for three of its characters as per the developer themselves so there is definite paid DLC on the horizon for the game as well. I'm thinking its pricing will be based off of how well the game does upon its final release, I imagine.

That's another funny issue in and of itself with a good number of people indicating they actually like the current voices as is, as cheesy and awful as it is. Some have said it adds to its unique appeal.

I'm not sure how exactly steams regional pricing works however it appears in this case Israel is worst off hehe. I wish more games had it somewhat hate that 1$ = 1€ on steam. We get it a little cheaper then you by a few cent but not much difference while Argentinians get it for next to nothing compared to us haha.

As for voice acting I'm not sure I find it too cheesy like a terrible dubbing. They claim to use mocap however I guess no real way of knowing which one.

I'm not insulting the VA's abilities in their pronunciation with my knock on the game's current voice acting as I'm sure English is their second language. The voice acting is awful in the respect that one female VA does all three of the in-game female characters and one male VA does all the in-game voices for the male at this time.

I'm pretty sure the developer just used the VA's that they did in the initial release of the game as just placeholders so they could get a version of the game out as quickly as possible at the least cost possible regarding this particular area of the game. The dev has already stated previously that they plan on updating the voice acting in it.

I just don't get how so many quip about the game's voice acting while at the same time not even realizing there are only two VA's even speaking in the game. Like anyone actually listening can't tell as much?!!! You'd have to be darn near deaf not to realize as much.

Dam yo... keep checking monthly to see if they will add the dam 18+ content cause the models are really well done, but every month we get like idk maybe a nude pic, a short clip of their sex physics testing... but still doesn't look like they are anywhere near releasing what people paid for...at this point it will be better to just import the models to something like Honey Select and just forget about this game. Enough teasing... give us something!

Or am I?
Having a "no sexual content" tag on a site for sharing SEX GAMES is a contradiction.

But, referring to the purpose of F95zone... DOES it CURRENTLY have sexual content???
Also, I really do not have time to read 17 pages to figure out if there's sexual content in a game where none is described.
And finally, PLANNING sexual content does not mean that it will be implemented, EVER.
F95 is an 18+ site, yes. But its more accurate to call it a forum for lewd games, that just happen to be dominated by games that contain sexual content, theres no reason to restrict non-sexual content lewd games, such as Together and that one vr loli game, people find them lewd so they belong here.

On their steam page they have their goal progress, and if you see that then youd know not to expect an 18+ update until around september-october, they never announced that they would release it soon, so you shouldnt expect it anytime soon. Unlike Operation Lovecraft where they announced an update within the week but havent released anything for the past month.

According to what someone posted on the game's Steam Discussion boards:

"Everyone should not buy this game. The production team replied to others on patreon, saying: "We have been committed to giving players a better experience, but we have obviously underestimated the difficulty of development. We will try to update it at the end of the year." What do you mean by that? The PPTs he has posted in the past few months are all deceptive, and 95% of the main line and 75% of the faces are deceptive. Just blind JB pie in one day, making him make the most awesome butter in history. One day, he will send out some PPT to coax you, stabilize your heart, and let the people behind buy with confidence. By the way, the selling point is miserable, let's see if we can bring some people to patreon to sponsor them. To be honest, none of you have played the content that he said in the PPT that has been done. Basically, the PPT and a short video will send people away. Now I have reason to suspect that they are just arranging bad money and ready to run away. After all, the previous game of this production team is not good."

Unfortunately, not being a Patreon backer I can't see this same information being posted. I guess it is a response to an on-going post? I would have thought they would make an all new post stating as much if this was actually the Dev's mentality but given their history up until now, it's not surprising in the least.
