Guys, enough of the negativity. She just got back and you are being toxic again, she comes to this site from time to time, don't upset her. Potreon does not pay her anything until the sanctions are lifted. She continues development for free. Yes, when the sanctions are lifted, in theory they should return the money
If you want to support her, that's fine; but pointing out the obvious that the project was abandoned without an ounce of communication for over two years and suddenly she reappears to be "working" on the game and it's all supposed to be fine and dandy?

Trust is lost. It's not toxic to point out the facts, even if it upsets her... Welcome to the real world. Momentarily, she might be working for free right now, but when the update arrives, I'm sure the support will pour in from Subscribestar or Boosty.

Let's be honest, have you done anything for free? I don't think so. The development of one 3D model can take 5 hours, or even more. And secondly, she didn’t abandon development, but slowly added something to the game. And she refused this not of her own free will, it didn’t work out because VPN was banned, maybe she was afraid that the state would punish her for developing the game, maybe there were other problems, she’s a person like us. And today, few people will do something for free, right?

Imagine shaming someone for getting blasted by international sanctions. That's like firing someone for missing work because the only bridge to get to work collapsed. Personally, I hope she does abandon this forum for good. Getting to download the game for free isn't good enough for you, now you want her to put in full time work for zero money? What is she supposed to pay her bills with? She literally posted about how she had to get multiple jobs to support herself. How entitled can you people possibly be? I bet you yell at McDonald's employees when the ice cream machine breaks.

I don't she should have to refund anything. If someone left their subscription to her on all this time, that's on them. Patrons have access to her discord where she said that progress came to a near stand still with the sanctions. They knew the situation. If the money was a problem for them, like it was with me, all they had to do was cancel their sub until something surfaced like I did. And an update did finally surface. So, I just went and re-subbed.

I'm not sure if any of you on this thread know this, but the sanctions weren't Shine's idea. She didn't call up NATO or whatever and be like "Hey, you know what you guys should do, nuke the dogshit out of all my income so I have to get multiple jobs, leaving me no time to work on my game."

No, you didn't understand me, I mean that she will be returned. And she doesn’t owe anyone anything, because they themselves voluntarily sponsored her. And in general, these are all little things, the most important thing is that despite everything that is wrong, she still returns to the development of her project.

you want her to put in full time work for zero money?
Who tf wants her to put all her free time into this project? And most importantly for free? She still has her patreon, or can simply switch to another platform to receive donations. She didn't put all her time in this project before, as well as didn't do it for "zero money", and won't have to do this now, what the fuck are you talking about? She can freely develop the game whenever she feels like it, and no one will say a word. Well, unless it'll take, let's say, 5 years to just restart or scrap the project in the end, as some H game devs do (if you know, you know). Or, unless she silently abandons the project. Ah, wait, this is exactly what happened.
What is she supposed to pay her bills with?
She literally posted about how she had to get multiple jobs to support herself.
Idk where you saw her say "I had to get multiple jobs to support myself". She said "I worked on a couple of new jobs". Her patreon post was pasted a few messages above fyi, no need to make up words she didn't say to make us feel bad about her (or whatever your intentions were). Don't you think it just means that she changed jobs several times in those 2 years? Btw, you basically answered your own question right after asking it, A JOB. That's how you normally supposed to pay your bills, by earning salary on a job. Crazy, isn't it? Not by collecting donations from patreon or other platforms, even tho you can, but by working on a job . Just like vast majority of people do.
She didn't die or become homeless, did she? So what are you trying to say here? Should we feel bad for her just because she had some common problems?.. Or you want to tell us that it's some "serious" problem that ordinary people don't encounter on a daily basis? Thousands of people encounter much more serious problems in their lives daily, like, idk, getting their home fucking exploded by a rocket at night and their entire family killed, for example. And she just had to change jobs several times, what a fucking tragedy, I'm literally going to cry rn. I won't ask you to elaborate on what you were trying to say here.
How entitled can you people possibly be?
So, just pointing out the facts is considered being "entitled" these days, huh? This is some serious meatriding right here. You have to understand that if she simply made a little post telling us what happened, even without details, and why she suddenly disappeared, there wouldn't be so many negative comments here about it, if any at all, and her patreon wouldn't be dead if people knew what happened. I don't think it was that hard to do.

Sanctions this, sanctions that. Do you really believe it's the reason why she abandoned the project? Why other people from russia just moved to another platform that wasn't blocked by sanctions, but Shine had to ghost everyone and abandon the project for almost 2 years? She could simply use VPN, just like she did recently to finally post something, and make a post telling us where we can support her. It's not because of the sanctions, it's because she probably wanted to take a break or whatever, stop bringing up this shit please. I would understand if she was from ukraine instead, shelled by russians for 2 years straight, it would be considered a much more valid reason to just silently abandon the project, don't you agree? And even then, I know ukrainian indie devs who didn't stop the development of their games despite living in the cities that are constantly shelled by russians (Zaporizhya, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, etc.), but our little princess Shine silently abandoned her project for 2 years BECAUSE OF FUCKING SANCTIONS, LET'S FEEL BAD ABOUT HER, PEOPLE! You say this shit as if these sanctions were applied to her personally. It's ridiculous to say the least, I talk to russians on daily basis (not that I'm proud of it, just saying), and they talk about sanctions from time to time, bragging that they almost don't feel any of their effects on their daily life and that they're completely useless. They have the same life as they had before the sanctions, they're regular russian people just like Shine

There in armored vehicles! On another site, as a booster, she was immediately banned for no reason, VPN only works with a few providers and you have to pay extra for it, Patreon cannot send her money because international banks are blocked in her country. And I repeat, have you ever done anything for free?

How absurd about NATO. First of all, the Russian government itself imposed restrictions on Patreon. (Because various creators on Patreon condemned the attack on Ukraine.)
Secondly, it’s not entirely appropriate to even mention this while trying to justify someone in this situation. Rather, it would only make sense if she decided to emigrate from Russia, then it could be understood. However, as mentioned earlier, Russians themselves like to boast about how sanctions don’t affect them and how they circumvent them.
So, it’s not a big problem unless you’re starting a new life by leaving your home.

And by the way, there are ways to withdraw money from Patreon, not directly, but they exist. Although it might have been worth warning subscribers not to continue their subscription; after all, I think people can see for themselves that there’s no content, so continuing to pay was their decision

Wow, you are so right. The source of the restrictions really changes the outcome of said restrictions. The nerve of me to use hyperbole in such a way as to not be completely literal. What was I thinking? I am so sorry.

Ah, yes, yet another absolute dunk on my utter buffoonery. Because other people that happen to be from the same country as this person have certain views on things, SURELY this person has those exact same views and it would be utterly CRETINOUS to believe otherwise. How absurdly daft of me. Clearly, packing your things and completely ditching your country of origin is the ONLY POSSIBLE WAY for ANYONE to have less free time to make porn, or less money to feed oneself. Seriously, how could I have ever been so dreadfully vapid? Again, I am so sorry.
And by the way, there are ways to withdraw money from Patreon, not directly, but they exist.
When it rains, it truly pours. How will I ever recover from such a thoroughly planned, pinpoint accurate destruction of my words? How stupid was it to not realize that there were methods for her to get her money from the banned website? I mean, it's not like VPNs are restrict- oh... Wait, yeah, VPNs are restricted... Oh, and yeah, she did say that she didn't want to get into trouble with her government by using one... Well, even still, SHAME unto thee for not breaking the laws of thy nation to provide us with more porn! SHAME! SHAAAAME!
She didn't put all her time in this project before, as well as didn't do it for "zero money", and won't have to do this now, what the fuck are you talking about? Odd thing to say in a post where you literally do exactly that. It seems to me like if you're so certain that there were no exterior factors at play with Patreon being banned and she just decided to "start working at her own pace" for just cuz, then uh... What is everyone malding about then? Seems to me after reading your post which I 100,000,000% agree with every single word of, she just decided one day that she didn't want to work as much or post about it for a while, and yet here you and everyone else are, pitching a skizzo rampage about it. Chill out, bro, she's just been working on the game whenever she feels like it for the last 2 years and y'all are dumb for continuing to give her money if you were sad about the pace of work. End of debate. Cry elsewhere.

Idk where you saw her say "I had to get multiple jobs to support myself".
"I worked on a couple of new jobs" is a line I interpreted as a possible translation quirk as a lot of native Russian speakers have had some problems with translation as English, admittedly, is a dumb fuckin language. As such, I thought it would be a fairly logical and safe assumption to make that yes, perhaps wartime and sanctions impacting a nations economy may lead someone to having to take multiple jobs. Because I'm sure you'd agree, when the U.S. encountered an economic crisis in 2008, many people had to supplement income with taking multiple jobs at once. It's entirely a logical conclusion to make and I hope you've enjoyed this elaboration you didn't ask for, probably because you knew what my logic was but wanted to be a prick about it anyways. Please, be more disingenuous if you could.
You have to understand that if she simply made a little post telling us what happened, even without details, and why she suddenly disappeared, there wouldn't be so many negative comments here about it, if any at all...
Oh, hey look, here you are doing that thing you said no one would do unless she took 5 years or something. And after only 2 years... The fact of the matter is, Patreon is a purely merit-based platform. Nobody signed a fucking contract to commit to a work rate. Every single person could have pulled their subscription at any time. It was very obvious that something was up. You would think that after 1 month of silence, one would think to themselves "Hmm, my renewal is coming up and I haven't seen anything at all from them... Perhaps I'll pause my subscription until something is said." Or maybe, they could have read about Patreon being banned in Russia and thought "Hmm, that doesn't sound good. Seems like this Russian developer may face some significant issues with Patreon soon. Maybe I should pull my sub and wait for them to announce a different site or something." You know, like a rational fucking individual.
The last paragraph is basically "Well, other people in other places that have it way worse did other things."
Oh, cool. Are any of those people named Shine? No? Ok. Or, better yet, I know people that had their homes broken into and robbed. I know people who were physically assaulted and mugged. I know people who were given horrible disabilities in accidents that were caused by the negligence of others. However, none of them feel the need to be raging skizzo maniacs on a porn game forum because they weren't smart enough to read a situation as it developed, yet here the fuck you are, aren't you?

I would like to take this paragraph in this post to yet again say how wonderful I think this game is and how excited I am to see that Shine is in a better place in life to continue development. I went and reactivated my patreon subscription to her in hopes that any revenue generated by the site will be held, saved, and given to her upon the site's restrictions being lifted. I would also like to encourage anyone with an extra $5 that they have no idea what to do with to, instead of burning it or something, consider throwing it Shine's way if they enjoy the current product being provided. That is, so long as they are aware of her current residential and political situation and are accepting of the possibility of another wrench in the works leading to another hiatus on active development of said product.

By the way, as an option, this is the Kimono Party website, but its Patreon has stopped monitoring it. If someone could somehow hint that she is back

Google translator sucks. Her Patreon. Yes, and I know that this can be edited, but I don’t want to suffer with this translator
