I had a choice. I could either put a nametag on everyone up front, or i could suffer pages and pages of livid posts by players who got two episodes in and then discovered that they couldn't have sex with Aisha. People assume harem. People assume trans is a kink instead of an identity. And people assume that they can bang every character regardless of who that character is.
It's interesting that you wrote your story with those people in mind when a disclaimer up front would have made it clear what to expect.

If you also rant on the threads of harem games, then I tip my hat to you.
I don't rant there because I rarely play/enjoy those games, they bore me. It's not like I find this game not intriguing. Murder Mysteries are always welcome in my book. I just wish it wouldn't feel that rushed.

As for Denver. If you don't like him, don't talk to him. There are more people than conversation slots, so there's nothing forcing you to interact much with people you don't like.
No that it really matters, but if he's not in any shape or form necessary for the plot to move forward, I will gladly ignore him. Have a nice weekend.

We covet what we see every day. That's why scifi+porn=fail.
well on avns those scifi+porn i have played it has worked (well 1 was bit stupid but worked otherwise ok) so i'll trust that tiaro and mortze won't fuck up this (based on their other games that's not a chance).

...
In the real world, I know the sexual orientation and gender of everyone who works for me, and I learned it almost as quickly as they did in Toro 7. Yes, we talk about these things, and no it isn't strange.
...
Holy WTF Shit?
I don't even know half of my colleagues names!
(Ok, home office and lots of them recently hired, but still)

Where is this coming from? After the intro, there's been a new heterosexual scene in every episode, and those episodes have come every few months.

I've seen this happen many times - as soon as a male MC is added to a female game, the female character line is updated poorly, rarely, and then stops altogether. That's the end of a decent game.

But... they've all been there since the beginning?...
It is... really true ! ?
Why i see this game, my teg-filter exclude male MC ! ?

In that case it's all right !
I still love this game.
But I still think that two main characters is a development slowdown !

3 paths, male mc, fem mc (lesbian) and fem mc (futa conrent).
It doesn't make sense. I don't understand why they make gay and lesbian games at all ! ? I'm gay, and I play fem MC games. Lesbians can play men's games. Creating three different genders is... redundant. Then what ? Five genders?

Perhaps the surest sign you are creating good art is not that your work gets no criticism at all (which would be impossible) but rather that a good chunk of the criticism you do get makes no fucking sense whatsoever.

Overview:
Toro 7 is an episodic science fiction story where you will be tasked with unraveling a mystery
that is taking place on an isolated station.
You can play as a straight man, a straight woman, or a lesbian woman and will have a variety of people to try to romance
(although this is NOT a "harem" game).

Ep.3
This is the official release of Episode 3 of our Science Fiction game, Toro 7. With this, all 9 primary romance paths are open.
We're releasing this today to higher tier patrons, and it will go out to the public in roughly a day.

There are three romanceable characters for each gender/orientation combination. You can choose to pursue any of them, but if you have sex with one, you won't be able to have sex with the other two in that playthrough. And, while you can have most of the conversations with the people you're not romantically compatible with, you won't be able to "convert" them to a different orientation or have sex with them.

Yes, the first sex scene for some LIs will be available on day 2, and the first scene for the remaining ones will be available on day 3. The second and third scenes for each LI will come later.

I don't know about a "date," but definitely a sex scene. :)

If anyone's keeping score, there are 3 potential LIs for every MC option. In Ep1 each MC got the ability to romance one of the LIs. In Ep2 they each got another one. We're now left with 3 LIs who don't have sex scenes yet. They will get theirs in Ep3.

:unsure:I can't figure out what this game is all about? I'm honestly just kidding.

it doesn't make any sense what you say, it's like saying why do some rpg's let me create my character.

it's simply to tell different perspectives in stories, different genres, different experiences, which can be more complicated to do, but that's up to the dev to decide.

it also helps a bit to have representation, you may not care but I would rather play a game with a lesbian protagonist than one with a man.

Depending on how you count them, this is either my 13th or my 15th game (two are really "short stories"). In the vast majority of these games, I had one MC and one LI. That's been necessary because the story in most of them builds on previous ones. Since Toro 7 is a standalone game, I had the opportunity to do something different. I thought, "Wouldn't it be nice if women could play their gender?" It's so rare that I get to do that in other people's games. And, yes, I'd like too. And I immediately then went to, "Wouldn't it be nice if my gay friends could play their orientation?"

Yes, providing multiple paths has a cost. Unless you play all 9 paths, every episode is shorter for you than the amount of work we put into it. And the storyline is challenging to write, since I can't guarantee that you've heard what this or that character said. But growth comes from doing something new, not doing the same thing over and over again.

It's ... strange ... that you decided to stop playing because of how other developers have behaved. We're not all the same.
