I was home, sick, without any idea when I would get well enough to work again, a letter arrived telling me I was retired since the first day of that year. BAM. I was 42 at the time.

The hardest part, besides the illness ofc, is the struggle to keep entertained. I'm mostly home bound, I have maybe developed a bit of Agoraphobia, it's quite uncomfortable to even consider going out. These games and many others have been my latest attempt. Heck I even installed Daz, not sure if that's for me, I can't invest any money, so free assets are all I can use. Yeah I could pirate some, but then I wouldn't dare to publish anything I did, kinda making it pointless. Ah well...

Last week we welcomed the new year with a body part. I do a lot of escape rooms and seeing numbers in images is a pretty common task in them. Hmm, I wonder if it's possible to do an erotic game with an escape room in it. Anyway, the best caption came from Lazy Turtle with:

"Let's start the new year with a bang!"

I could definitely see Tara getting into that position and saying something similar. Nice, LT!

On Toro 7 Ep4, we're down to two more sex scenes. Mortze is hopeful that he'll get the images for them done this week. If so, I should be able to get them written and coded by the weekend. When that happens, I'll release the pre-localized beta version to $25 patrons. Our localizers have translated everything up to the most recent two sex scenes, so they're not far behind us. When we get the final translations, I'll release the episode to $10 patrons and then to the public a day later. So, we're getting there.

This week's image is fun. I'm a big fan of the modern She Hulk comics but didn't like the recent Disney+ show as much as I wanted to. Tatiana Maslany is such an incredible actor (if you haven't seen Orphan Black, you're seriously missing out), but it felt like they didn't put her considerable skill to good use this time.

while it'd be easy to make escape room avn it'd not make sense since idea is to get out of there as fast as possible and there's no privacy to have sex.

Tlaero, funny you should mention that. The latest episode of the most popular AVN around here has a rather rudimentary escape room in it as part of a free roam.

It's jarring that this is treated like a proper novel with images. Not unwelcome, but very jarring. So used to characters just having their names above the text box to indicate who's talking/doing what. Instead it's all "X character got down."

Big appreciation for it honestly.

I don't think I could realistically put an escape room into an erotic game. In all of the minigames I've done for Toro 7, I've intentionally given people the option to skip them because many people hate minigames in their porn.

I think the only way to do it would be to make the bulk of the game itself be the escape room. If the game is "an escape room with erotic elements" then people who don't like minigames would know to stay away. But a dating sim where halfway through you go to an escape room would probably annoy more people than it would entice.

True, my friend. Very true indeed. Please do not do escape room content. I prefer your mystery format here in Toro 7. I enjoy a well made "whodunnit." Your vision for this game seems to be right on target. You and Mortze are an amazing team. Just keep up what you are doing, follow the path you've set forth and this will be yet another fab success!

I discovered the game today, and I really liked it. Queer girl here, so I'm always happy to discover games with a believable lesbian protagonist ^^

So far, I liked the interactions with the characters, the setting, the murder mystery... and the dog mystery xDD.

On the other hand, I liked that Aisha is post-op. I'm personally attracted to trans girls regardless of their genitalia, but in porn, pre-op trans girls are more common by far, so it's nice to see someone taking into account post-op trans girls. I often see how a lot of people confuse pre-op trans girls with "futanaris", but it's even worse for post-op trans girls, and also to trans men in general, since it's like they don't even seem to exist to some people, lol. The tags available on this website don't help in any case.

Regarding the writing, I see details like "everyone is going to explain their sexual orientation to you now" a bit forced. Even the MC comments on it. But I understand that it's a quick way to put you in context about the whole main cast.

And, I hope I'm wrong, but coincidentally the only not dateable character for any of the three MC options, has so far been the one who has raised the most suspicions in relation to the murder. I hope it's not as "obvious" as this seems right now.

You missed nothing as every NPC has so far gotten a story
and enough content now so we can get all the multiple saves going,
as there will be nothing for this or that NPC and a lot for other
NPCs and this all brings better replayability with the choice of MC and relationships.

The information about what someone got in their pants is dangerous, deadly dangerous
in this game, so throwing all those sex dividers in there, the trans girl has a banter
tantrum going on with the straight guy she works with,
while the gay guy is kind a outta luck while the lez keep to themselves,
the story navigates through a kind of tribal setting where tension could build up.

The game hard lines the MC into his choice of sexual demand,
players get to choose the sexual orientation and the appearence.
All of these facts make it a plot for MC to resonate with everyone,
while the job is getting everyone on board with MC being
the sole distinction between the disgruntled sexually repressed crew members
and the very real possibility of any NPC or even the MC who could,
at any moment, not give into someone”s sexual demand and end up dead.
