seems the issues still persist so for me putting this on ignore was hoping it would become playable at some point but I have lost faith in this dev to deliver something that will actually function.

download, delete the numbers and then copy it in ur GAME directory ...

This game has a really bad interface. What's with password for walkthrough? Now that's stupid. The dev's really need to change the font on the hint system, can't understand anything. Multiple choices are pain the arse because you miss out most of the scenes. Some events won't trigger. The game has good models & good story, unfortunately the gameplay sucks. Hope in future the game gets better...

Open patch in a new tab. Right-click and hit Save As. Delete numbers, and hit Save.
Sometimes when downloaded it comes up as like 1772042_characters, delete 1772042_, and then after that'd drop in game folder and it should work
