I think you're right. I only did a few battles against the mimic, but it seemed to take a turn after every turn my characters took. It's quite noticable when you use a full party, though I guess it would be easy to overlook if you're only using Celica since other monsters also get to attack twice per round.

Violet "learns slimecock" - possible future event?

Seems like a safe bet. There's some slimecock in the demoness event so I certainly would be looking to partially recycle the animation for a (potentially repeatable) Violet event or even a Violet/Evie/Nel event.

I think you're all a bit harsh on deimus, writing new events for a game this complex is very difficult and time consuming (I can say that having seen the code), and I'm sure he's got other real-life problems to worry about.

I agree. Like... we're pirates; the only thing we're likely spending on this game is time. Sure, Deimus probably could use his resources more efficiently, but that's true of all of us. As a guy who's giving the dev no money and has only been following the project for a few months I've been liking the velocity of development, particularly when compared to other projects which are definitely being mismanaged or only update every 3-4 months. Those updates might be larger, but it's always disappointing to go "ooh, an update!" just to realize it's focused on a character you're not pursuing.

First you need to come to her in a slime suit, then just lose to her. If you have progressed far enough to have a contract, then first talk to her, watch the scene, and only then the possibility of a fight opens. After that, you come back in 3(?) days and here it is

The dev, IMO, is pretty fair; however, I do not know if there's any "bumps" along the development that could have caused some backlash, and I'm not reading a 48+ page thread. I've backed other Patreon projects and itch.io projects before and the standard is set so low nowadays. I'd probably back the dev up if the H content focused more on what I'd personally want but I don't think it's changing directions anytime soon.

I recently figured this out. It turns out that these are not keys, but parts for buying new spells from the elves, but do not confuse them with the celestial key, which is actually the key

I really wish that there would be some sort of a gallery feature in future versions. Having to keep track of dozens of saves each time a new scene happens is boring, and your slots would fill up so fast (granted, you have dozens of save slots too). I'm not too familiar with Ren'py, all I know is that it is a visual novel engine, but maybe they could do something in the future to amend that

The grind isn't that bad. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The gameplay is forgiving enough, with things like recovering health on level up that I wish were in more games like this. I got to level 20 in a few hours and the ghost helps.
I've ground more in other RPG for less returns.

Perspective matters indeed. TOM does have a specific focus and is toned down for sure (compared to heavily/purely pornographic games). There's plenty of regular gameplay and mechanics, even with Nel fully in the picture. Not an event gallery.

I played a new save in 58 and it felt quite tolerable compared to the old exploration and combat. Just have to approach it as a regular game first with sexy content as a prize for playing, if one is to enjoy it. But that's what the review section is for.
