I got it by walking up the stairs after leaving the house
also I think you need to have sex with Mary in all possible rooms in the house

Candle is pretty easy to find if you know the layout of the game. Go to the haunted woods at night, go to the potion shop girl (woman sturring the cauldron surrounded by literally the very things you need). Talk to her, she will give you the candle.
