Depends on how fast you play, but I know most of the gameplay by heart and so it takes me about 2 hours or so, less if I focus. Normal player following the guide might take 3 hours and someone from scratch possibly up to 5.

You need to interact with the stone markers. If you've done that and they're still there you've done it wrong.
