I'd say about 50% of what it needs to be a complete game.
It has 5 levels where you can hunt for samples and a black market to sell the ones you don't need. The main quest will take you through 4 of them, while the 5th is clearly incomplete. Still the game lacks motivation for you to do that main quest, except because you have nothing better to do.
It has about 7 multi-functional machines to do lewd things with your samples.
About 75% of the research tree has been implemented.
It has humans and 2 alien races. It has men and women, but the game seems to plan to implement something in-between.
It has a wide selection of clothes, but you will not be seeing them much, because they get in the way of doing lewd things. A comment in this thread said it would be nice if clothes could be half-worn so that the samples could still be lewded.

Not abandoned, still looks like dev is working on it. Just has extremely slow development cycles.
Next update seems to include:
- Updates to the elf world
- Minimap & quest markers
- A new rope decoration spot (shibari) for samples
- A latex suit for samples

Honestly would like him to finish adding futa samples, pregnancy (which is hinted by the way the samples have a birth origin) & at least add cum effects to the game. That'll probably be in a few years though...

Yes. They had major changes in version 20, now you have to torment / pleasure your samples to extract their emotional energy, potentially training them to love or hate what you're doing to them to extraordinary degree to optimize your emotional energy income. That emotional energy is then used to progress through the tech tree.
Much more fun than thinking of ways you can make training worth it in previous versions (as opposed to just selling everybody you caught on the market as-is).
In the cheat menu, there don't seem to be cheats that are related to the new tech tree.
