As "Outbreak" is abandoned.
I think it is abandoned as well.
I actually am not sure about the state of Transcendent. Outbreak for sure is not abandoned, although it was labeled as such per F95 rules and a staff decision. As for this game, the last I know for sure is this post from this thread. However, I seem to remember that both games originally were intended to be from the same universe, and then something about a change in that idea meaning a change for Transcendent. But I can't remember specifics. Maybe GM Studios can clarify, since he still visits F95 every so often (early July was the last time I saw him on here).

Well, then let's wait and hope for the best.

Yes, a significantly high quality, above average story and illustration. A novel as promising and potentially exciting as this is almost inevitably destined, it seems, to garner enough interest and attention to draw the baleful gaze of the dread Harbinger of Doom.

I mean no criticism or disrespect of the Developer in this here case, irrespective of what's going or not going on. 'Tis a bloody tough enterprise wrestling these Renpy buggers into submission and then trying to maintain an even keel on the artistic and technical front too. Even more so with the ears ringing from the constant nagging and whining ushering forth from we denizens lurking in this dark, yet not forsaken pit.

Aye, "Transcendent" indeed. A fitting title. For that's certainly what this'll be if it ever climbs high enough to ultimately see the light of another dawning day.
