Nice collar but the thigh one creeps me out a bit, ngl. I mean, why the spikes? o_O
I do like the model you've made and to confirm/repeat what was said above - I stayed for the writing more so than Caprice
Probably smart to stay away from girls who cut themselves :p Thanks for the high praise, since Caprice is quite a draw.

For what it's worth I do think the game will probably get more traction and popularity with 3D art, and it gives you more freedom. But my personal preference is real porn. For me personally it just gives a greater level of immersion and believability to what I'm reading if there's a real image to pair with it. Particularly animated gifs/videos paired with a paragraph of writing. If I could pick. Even if it was just for the sex scenes. If I were to mix the two I'd probably have real porn for the more explicit content like sex scenes or modeling stuff, and use 3d art for the environment, meeting characters and other story stuff. But I can't tell you how to make your game. I can just say what I enjoy about it.

I suppose ideally if you could do it, to create a real porn model that looks real but is completely fabricated. Giving you full creative control but also looking lie a real porn actress. Just not one that's a real person irl. But at that point you're delving into heavy cgi work to make something that mimics reality that closely, and that is probably incredibly expensive and probably not worth it for you.

I also prefer html because I do play on a tablet, and renpy games just don't really work well on those devices. If they run at all, they'll frequently crash or give a variety of errors. It's unfortunate. So there are plenty of good games on other engines that I just won't experience because of running issues.

It's a big ask, but is there any chance you'll develop both versions of the game simultaneously? The writing could be the same. It is more work obviously. But it could appease both fan bases. It would just be a matter of finding new media as you expand the story. But I don't know what your plans are or how much you're going to expand what's already there.

I do appreciate that you've stuck with the game so long. It's very rare anyone would develop a project like this beyond a year.

Thanks, Terakahn.

I've mentioned this a few times throughout the thread and dev posts that I still intend to complete the html version. It's development is parallel because it overlaps both (both versions are soon to be blocked by writing). It's not a clear financial decision. It will probably both boost and lower sales of the 3D game but for now most of the html revenue goes to 3rd parties making ad revenue. I already curated and dispersed media packs so that even if Patreon bans me something approaching a finished version will be released eventually. Once all the writing is done, doing remakes with different voice overs or graphical styles becomes more feasible.

Story wise we are at 700,000 words. 1.0 will probably be 900-1.1M. For reference a huge 3 inch thick novel like Game of Thrones is only 298k.

I have played a lot of Ren Py games and I think all of the crashes I've encountered on desktop have been coding errors. Users will have more issues playing on mobile or tablets but you should be able to play RP games on any platform you wish. I haven't tested the Android and mac conversions yet but the tools are widely used and appear to work for the vast majority of users.

Have you released a thread on here or tfg for the 3d version? or is it still in testing?

I think moving to 3D art will be better for the game because it'll be more true to the text written for scenes and actions, I also think more people will check the game out because the majority of people like the Renpy engine the most.

I feel like it'll elevate the game to the next level even tho I see why people could be disappointed because they liked the game because of real scenes and it being html but you said you'll finish the html ver anyways so there's no genuine reason for anyone to be disappointed by the change because it won't be a change it'll be like a remake after it's completed.

I played some routes of the game and I remember playing this for the first time it was so early on it barely had any content but I kinda forgot about it and gave it a try a month ago and honestly it's become so good. I liked the FemTaylor/MaleTaylor route the most the one that starts in the park even tho it isn't finished but I found it the most catchy and interesting.

Also, are you planning on moving to a different payment platform if your pateron got banned?.

It is still in testing. I expect to finish the demo this month for patron comment. A public version will be out probably next month.

Thanks for the feedback, Triepslay! I agree with your observations about engine preference.

The game has about 40 endings now with .59 so there is a lot of content even if there are still a lot of dead ends. They are getting filled in. Much of the best content comes in the end game so lots of cool scenes are coming as well as shocking conclusions to stories a lot of people don't even know exist :p I think even long time readers will be happy with some of what I have in store. All those meandering paths are going somewhere apparently - sometime on Transfigure!

I also like some of the T vs T scenes. It is fun to be on the receiving end of Taylor's allure! Maybe not so much some of the other actions...

I've had a subscribe star for years, I just realized it wasn't in my signature so I added it.

I got a few endings and I like how in some routes you can actually go back to male and it's not locked to like one cannon route so that surprised me haha.

I'd say my second favorite route would be the one where that rich guy that we go on a date with when the professor tells us about kidnaps Taylor and starts training her, then I noticed that when FemTaylor meets MaleTaylor she has a similar aroma to the woman that was helping train her so now I'm wondering if that FemTaylor is from that route or not lol.

What was your favorite route to write? like what route have you enjoyed the most out of everything you've written, I don't mind spoilers really but I'm curious.

I enjoy writing characters with extreme personalities and dialogue like Zen Master Peeshi and Deter. They both have ridiculous lines but what they are saying also frequently has some degree of truth to it.

My all time favorite ending I think of the most is the unreleased ending number 100. Most of the story is dispersed across multiple routes but a lot of these have a high percentages of the true explanations behind various story events like Taylor's initial transformation so they've been left for the end.

I have a lot of fun writing spy content and areas that get into awkward situations so that's most of the game. The routes all exist because they each have a unique experience to explore within a complex interactive story.

Teddy was the hardest character to write because some of the themes don't personally appeal to me but I thought of a couple decent endings and some funny moments so I thought I'd add them for completeness.

I'd say about half of my favorite scenes are unreleased just because they come in later portions of the story or contain more spoilers than adult content.

The time is coming to start laying all the cards down on the table one by one.

Damn bruh, you hyping me up with these routes and endings.

I'll have to say that I agree with you on the adult content and spoilers cuz as I said my favorite was literally an incomplete route that as far as I remember didn't have adult scenes.

Honestly tho, the fact that most routes I was interested in weren't complete made me a little annoyed haha.

While making each route and focusing on so many aspects do you just lose yourself in the progress of writing? do you like confuse routes sometimes? cuz I feel like it must be tiring to make these many routes and that's one of the main reasons I was interested in the game and in you as a developer.

Last question, while making so many different routes do you feel like you're making a different game with the same characters? because some of the routes I played were so different from some others and it just felt like I'm playing a completely different game so I'm asking to know if sometimes you feel like I do when you write scenes and routes.

Yeah, there is a reason not many projects like this exist and most devs that try burn out and quit. Writing one good story is very hard. Writing two is twice as hard. Writing 100+ is probably the realm of crazy people, might be 200x as difficult since you have to manage stress, organization, and consistency. Making them into a game and doing all the other solo dev stuff is a lot of work and has forced me to learn dozens of skills outside writing. For most devs it makes sense to make 10 stories into 10 projects to milk them all for maximum profit. Maybe I should have done that but I'd rather make 1 good game vs 10 shallow games.

I guess the obvious question is why did I make such a large project? I didn't intentionally do so. When I started I wanted to make Transfigure with 12 original endings. I wrote a lot of basics of those stories years before so I had a good chunk of what I wanted in that 12. (Mainly diverse stories with opposing themes and different relationship motivators, ex love, obligation, debt etc). I realized it made a very linear experience where you sort of get railroaded onto a path and you're stuck there until the end. I didn't like this because it essentially means the player gets 1 very important decision in the whole game.

So I essentially doubled the end count to 24 to add a final choice on a lot of routes. A lot of routes do contain foreshadowing but its hard to do that for all events because everything in real life isn't foreshadowed. So I wanted to have a way for say a lesbian player to opt out of certain routes or at least give them the chance to find most of the content without crossing themes. This is what a lot of the dead end xs are for, they are cosmetic redirects for players to move into other story areas with different themes.

Losing myself in the writing is my other strength and weakness. I write like a hummingbird. I chase pretty flowers and ideas. I write them obsessively and then stop when I get to the boring editing stage and move on to the next. Which is how I wrote what was supposed to be Transfigure 2 and a lot of the meandering content in the game. It is more focused on the spy chapters and late game revelations. But as it grew organically by the whims of the hummingbird spirit, the content blocks grew so large and interconnected I decided to combine them for a more complete experience. When it is finished it will be a very long game with many different experiences rather than a game with a bunch of unrelated mini games or stories included. The characters are the same across the stories but your decisions can have a real impact on people just like in real life.

The main reason I am making a giant project is because I think the end result will justify the years of sacrifice and create a very unique commercially successful adult project with strong artistic merit.

Would you say that you've always been interested in making an adult game or was it other adult games that made you interested in making one?.

The game right now is in a really good spot because I feel like any route you add on will ultimately benefit the story and the world building, a route I found interesting was when Taylor gets addicted to drugs because of Mitch she meets a woman that's into rock and shit and that route is still incomplete obviously but I feel like she could help Taylor get out of the addiction route and help her fix her life? idk what the plans are but it's an interesting route especially cuz I can't stand Mitch and I was so glad when we didn't submit to him in the apartment and turned the tables on him instead haha.

I honestly respect all the effort you put into your game, it shows that you really care about this project and the fact that each route is long and requires paying attention to the smallest details.

And the game is so big that there's no way someone can easily finish the game because it's filled with content and I like the fact that each choice leads to a different outcome and different characters.

A bit of both. I like games and stories. As I got older they naturally became adult themed with more mature topics. That's both my consumption and what I wanted to produce. Most gamers are adults and so the future of gaming is adult gaming.

A lot of the stories I wrote because I was unsatisfied with the work of others or was inspired by their setups (that were usually good but went nowhere).

I'm glad you are enjoying the game and found something you like, Triepslay. Thank you for the feedback and compliments!

I do get sad sometimes when people leave me 1 star reviews or comments saying they beat the whole game in 1-3 minutes and there is no content, no choices, and only dead ends. I don't think that is an accurate representation of a story with 40 endings, thousands of pieces of media, and 700,000 words of content.

Some people are always gonna be like that, i have been playing alot of diffrent games on this site and i feel your game makes me want to find diffrent endings. I would not be able to write or use my time like you and many others do and i feel it is kind of funny that people who don't put down the time or energy can just dismiss other peoples hard work in a matter of seconds. In the end what matters is what you as a creator feel about your game.

I see, so you took inspiration from other works and refined them to fit the story and make sense instead of aimlessly putting different routes and kinks just for the sake of it and for the sake of adult scenes.

It's fun to look for routes and figure the game out slowly and paying attention to details.

People tend to hate on something just because it doesn't have something they want, they probably tried your game expecting all of it to be sexual with no point and no story until they noticed that the game has a story and you actually need to read to get in the mood, also the sex scenes mean so much more when they actually have a story and that's one of the main reasons I really like your game.

But genuinely people that say that have a clear intent of hurting you as a dev and getting inside your head to make you mad or sad by their remarks because at the end of the day we all know your game isn't 4 or 5 mins long and it's actually long and quite complex, you're also consistent if it was with communicating with fans, comments, questions or frequent updates of the game and news about updates. I know sometimes it's hard to just ignore what they say and not let it affect you but think of them as people that are sad and only exist just to troll and annoy others that are putting in hard work while they're jealous of the hard work you're putting in, jealous you have a game you're working on while they wish they were in your shoes and also jealous that you have supporters and fans of you and your game.

Keep up the hard work Tango! best of luck to you and I hope to keep seeing you rise higher and higher from success to a bigger success!.

Thank you both for the kind messages! I always like hearing about the experiences readers have.

I agree it's impossible to please everyone but at the same time I recognize why these comments pop up. Most people post with good intentions even if the comments are negative. It's hard to dismiss them completely when they do have a valid point at the core of what they are saying. Complaining about a beta game being an incomplete game is kind of dumb but their experience of being given a choice that hit end of content quickly and being disappointed and quitting early is something of relevance I am trying to fix... by finishing the game. There are worse problems to have than people demanding more content.

The more feedback I get the better the project will be.

Yeah I get that point but I feel like you're being unfair to yourself or being hard on yourself because we both know that there's no way someone "completes" your game in a few minutes, maybe a route or a dead end but even then it takes more than minutes.

Now obviously some criticism differs from other criticism and that's what I'm talking about here, the amount of content in the game shouldn't be a point of criticism because genuinely the game has plenty of it.
