Shiravune already have the license and Alicesoft already have been trying to move away from MangaGamer to maximize profits by self-publishing. Shiravune probably got the license because DMM has tons of money to take the risk. So there is no chance MangaGamer can get it. Shiravune has shown to not be willing to work with the other publishers or their storefronts so very doubtful it will happen.

no. they bought the licence fee and got the right to translate and publish the game. personally cant see them just give it to mangagamer for a uncensor patch or something. it haven't happen before, even though jast and mangagamer has tried to get them to post on their store. i dont see how this classify as a flame war...

But, if you buy it from JAST, MangaGamer, Denpasoft, Fakku or Nutaku, it is uncensored with no mosaics. That is the closest comparison I can think of, and it is very unlikely Shiravune would want to allow another publisher or storefront to have the uncensored version or an uncensored patch.

Some publishers like Qureate publish a version onto Steam, but the 18+ patch on their site for the Steam version has mosaics. But, if you buy it from JAST, MangaGamer, Denpasoft, Fakku or Nutaku, it is uncensored with no mosaics. That is the closest comparison I can think of, and it is very unlikely Shiravune would want to allow another publisher or storefront to have the uncensored version or an uncensored patch.

they tried to self publish which has mosaics but got banned from steam. (not the demo) after that they probably either got a third party to uncensor or maybe give it to mangagmer again honestly idk. you can mostly find that stuff on their en twitter or steam community on the demo

i hope they get evenicle 2 on mangagamer. it's not a hard game to publish compared to dohna

MangaGamer would gladly have Evenicle 2, but if Shiravune outbids them or if Alicesoft doesn't want to deal with them, there is nothing they can do.

Personally I hope they don't abandon their desire to self-publish and end up releasing Evenicle 2 on GoG. The original CG censorship doesn't matter to me either way, though.
