One thing that makes Marina 1 better when it comes to H-scene but the AV actor seems better for Marina that is so very ironic to me ,

Probably you're right this series might be the best overall I read a lot of positive comments about it in other site and forum too

Per the college guy having stamina, yes it was part of the story but he wasn't a very good lover like most collage age men (sorry guys but its true). Just ask most collage age girls and they will tell you that stamina is for nothing since most guys don't even know how to give a women good sex. I'd argue the biggest difference was the AV actor is SKILLED at giving women pleasure and that goes a looooong way vs having good stamina - plus some men in there 30's-40 have better sexual stamina especially if they make the effort to take care of themselves. Per the big surprises in Marina 2, honestly I love Marina series but you have to remember the author hates netorase and loves NTR - he never felt comfortable writing netorase and none of his other games if I recall feature it. The scene I'm assuming capu2 is referring to is the bath scene where Marina has thoughts about things in a more NTR fashion.
Even his "if" stories of marina are all NTR - he has publically stated he just doesn't get netorase, which is unfortunate because again its not truly a real netorase story since its basically anti-netorase and Marina is one of the most interesting characters/perfect for netorase.

The author, Onborozuki, did a solid job on her Character Development.
This line right here foreshadows Marina 3. The Ojii-sama is the 3rd party in Marina 3
Agreed! That character development is why Marina is the best MILF/character in Atelier Sakura games, she even has two more spinoffs after this game when others don't lol

Well I agree Marina's character development was well written, a major flaw is what effect her leaving Kenji would have for a new relationship literally built on sex and her daughter. She would eventually just be another single parent and I bet would get back together with Kenji one day.
The whole idea behind NTR is fear of losing ones "love" to another more sexually powerful man - but thats NTR esp. IF she had left Kenji it would technically have not lead to a better life.
Although we are taking hentai and japanese culture here, with the idea that NTR at its core is to sexually dominate another mans woman and turn her into his sex slave who can't get enough of him, like a mindless bimbo.
Thats why the most powerful NTR storylines are when a women actually falls in love FIRST with the other man with the sex being better too - not falling in love with another man becuase the sex is better.

Except her prequel games were massive failures, looking at the online sale numbers (where sites show them) they under performed and poorly received by both her english and japanese fans. It basically boils down to the fact that Marina was made popular by basically introducing netorase to a larger audience.
Marina really was the first netorase titled game that actually exists.
Honestly I'm not even sure the logic behind making two marina spin-offs around non NTR/netorase storylines featuring her first love (the guy from the first game which most fans hated) and a second game where she basically teaches another guy how to have sex. The problem is Atelier Sakura's audience is built up of NTR fans - so why they would think to make two spinoffs for a different audience base that wouldn't even know her character and alienate her existing fans is a very strange decision.
Although from a writers point of view I get it, that its fun to explore a characters past but as seen that doesn't mean your audience will buy those stories if they are too different from what turns them on. In this case NTR/netorase.
