I managed that when I edited the save file code. It broke the game later when I couldn't load the save.

It's not in the wrong position. Interact with the "weak wall" a bit more and the key will move to the bottom screen where you can pick it up with the grappling hook.

Unrelated but does the incest patch work with this update? I replace the config.set file but I don't get the warning that a file has been altered.
