What software is giving you an alert? I use comodo and never get any alerts from downloads here (Nopy & Mega mostly) And what is giving you the alert? The archive file itself or the game.exe? What browser do you use and do you have it setup to protect your machine? I.E.: Asks if you want to allow a cookie, completely block third party cookies and wipes history & cookies when you exit and block pop-ups If you are using windows, Mac and linux files wont set off your antivirus because the files are not compatible with your system. Like I said never any alerts here and no problems, if your anti-virus is giving you alerts its more likely a false positive. If you are using something like Mcafee or Norton don't trust it. They are your helpful friend just like Google & Facebook claim to be. And if you really want to be not found out, find out what usenet is and how to use it effectively.
Adios amigo
no Norton or mcafee. windows, downloading the windows link, browser stops all popups, max security, avast and malwarebytes, wipes everything when I close browser, ccleaner finds remnants of files left from both anonfiles and, I forget the other one, mixdrop or something, don't even have to click the download link, literally just open the webpage, can do it from any post on this site, open either of those two, and shit goes crazy. both avast and malwarebytes immediately try to shut down both websites, then I run my cleaner tool and there are remnants of files from the website, sometimes pup's as well. I also never have a problem with nopy or mega, but the nopy links were at the time only for mac and Linux files and its a 6gb download, mega would have stopped at 5 and tried to make me wait. tbh though, avast is stupid quite often, and if it was just that, without my browser telling me it stopped popups, malwarebytes also throwing flags, and my cleaner finding things it wants to remove immediately, I would probably ignore it. everything acting stupid all at the same time? and never happens with nopy? or mega? or this site itself? or the vast majority of other websites? simply easier to not trust them. I simply asked if there was going to be another link other than those 2 and shit blew up because of some greasy troll who ran out of pamprin. a nopy link was added, which worked fine, was scanned by windows and avast without any issues, and is faster than both anonfiles and mixdrop. file seems clean. as far as the vpn thing goes, to each their own, and if the government wants to know what kind of porn I like, they can have at 'er. I just don't want the government and some random third party company knowing, when all the government has to do is ask the vpn, and it will tell them, since you connect to their server, and their server connects to whatever, when it sends information back to you, there is still that trail that exists. I wasn't really interested in arguing about it, but the guy responding was such an asshat about it so I had to say my piece. the downfall of being right all the time is that you constantly want to prove it as well....
either way, thanks for the reasonable response, this is the kind of thing people should be doing on a forum, discussing solutions to problems instead of crying like little girls. nice to see that some people can still be civil.
