i out my saves into the app data and user data folder like the instructions said, i still cant use the saves it shows the continue button greyed out.

Put the save you want to use somewhere safe. Note the number of the save file. "Defaultfile10.rpgsave"
Start a new game. Save immediately, in the same number slot as the save file you wish to use. "10"
Shut the game.
Copy the save you want to use into the save directory, overwriting the save you just created.
Start up again, and load.
