This game is so very complicated, as well as Lust Epidemic, as I'm sure The Genesis Order will be. I wish there was a way to make In Game Walkthrough Mods! It would make the game so much more appealing. Popping back and forth out of the game and back into it to check a walkthrough is just so damn tedious! I had to quit ToN close to the end because I was so exhausted from the incessant back and forth. Eventually, it just wasn't worth it. GREAT, GREAT GAME! But an extremely OVERLY complicated plot without an intuitive in-game walkthrough makes for a a top-notch game that quickly breeds vapid dullness and subsequent boredom.
I started in the middle of the three games (Lust Epidemic, Treasure of Nadia, and The Genesis Order), with ToN, and was, at first, blown away, until I got lost along the way, not knowing what the hell to do from one moment to the next. But since I loved it so much, I pressed on, not really getting anywhere, so out came the written walkthrough, and I followed it word for word, thinking the whole time, "Why can't this be incorporated into the game as a Sancho mod or a Lain mod?" I'm certain those whizzes could pull it off! As I said, I quit slightly early, and I then, reluctantly, attempted LE, but quickly noticed it had, pretty much, the same format, so went no further than about 30-60 minutes before stopping. Unfortunately, TGO looks to be the same, so I won't even give it 30 seconds. I simply don't have the time or patience to be jumping back and forth between game and .pdf file to guide me through a game. A REAL good game should NEVER require step-by-step instructions. You should, at least, have some semblance of a clue as to what to do next at all times! Sadly, ToN never pointed you in any direction that was conducive to positive progression. Also, there was one very low point ... grinding for artifacts. It was simply an awful addition to the game. You're already grinding to figure out what the hell to do next, but then you've got to grind to get artifacts to get money to buy something, but you don't know what you're supposed to buy, because you have no clue what you're supposed to do next. Poorly laid out structure in an exceptionally crafted game. Now THAT is an oxymoron if I ever heard one.
PLEASE! Someone with the abilities, make an IN GAME WALKTHROUGH MOD FOR THESE THREE GAMES, so we can enjoy them to their full intended capacity! Take care, all!
