the reason is quite simple, before they remove the mod from the op(didn't know they even did that at this point). There was a clear and bold letters warning saying that using the mod and cheats fucks with the game and makes it unplayable. But people completely ignored that, and did it anyway. Leading the people could could do simple reading to be angry with them.
How happy would you be, if you had to answer the same question every few hours(endlessly) while a warning to avoid said problem is clearly stated before you download the game?
