Getting a "failed to load: img/characters/$grandtalisman.png" load error, anyone have a fix for that? I checked the files and it's missing...

Edit: Downloaded the compressed one and it was in there.

Game freeze can be a lot things : failed to update properly, compressed acting up, your PC saying lolnope, you cheat/mod/save edit and it came back to bite your ass off, etc

You can try to search for "game freeze" around the thread, try with the full build, wait for v44 to come out, pray to RNGesus some1 else can help/has a fix

I suspect you don't have enough free space in your compy. Then: delete what you don't need.
Or, too many applications are running at the same time. Then close those you don't need.

Are you playing a compressed version of the game? Are you using an unofficial android port of the game? Have you used any mods, patches or cheats? Have you used someone else's save?

If yes to any of the above, then you've likely found the culprit. Or it could be a weak old computer not up to any task above checking email and browsing pornhub.

^ Nah, potato PCs will slow down and eventually crash to desktop when MV eats all the RAM. Black screen is a "bug" from fuckering up the game itself, whether a fail update or compressed. Unless our quoted dude found a new way to crap himself and the game

Windows: The save files are located in: \Users\<Your User Name>\AppData\Local\User Data.

Just a tip, you can enter %localappdata%\User Data to get to that folder directly. Works in the explorer, the search bar, command prompt and so on.
