What else you can try is to re-activate your AMD card and tell TON to use your Intel card (power saving) as mentioned in the link I posted first:

On a previous version (probably 3 updates ago) of the game I installed the mod that let me get more money and hearts for characters. Anyways, I removed the game folder from my pc and installed the current updated version without any cheats or mods.On starting the game I saw my previous saves still exist but it has 5 stars on characters and a shit ton of money. My game works just fine, I finished the update but I kinda miss the grind for money. Any idea how I can reset those stats keeping the save file intact?

An even easier way would be to not link anything aside the update and upgrade-only, about 3 problems solved just by that

Ma dudes, can anybody hook me up with a 100% file legit, no-cheats, and selected that the MC should NOT die in the game, up to date to the latest version? I have one that has like 49% percent in the game, i fear that it may get buggy down the road.

Here. I've only used the Incest mode. Don't have tons of money but all good. Mine might say I've only unlocked 5/6 Booty Calls, but I have all 6 so not sure what's up with that.

Either pick a save someone else already posted or delete your saves and start all over. And starting all over isn't a bad thing, because the game is fun to play and that's the only way you know that your save game does not contain any modded/cheated hearts or money.

Sorry, I don't have a solution, but here are two suggestions (you may have probably already tried these):
1) Try loading a previous save and see if the game gets stuck again.
2) Try downloading and playing the most recent version of the game (v27041)

I'm glad you found a solution. It's a weird one, but hey, if it works for you, great!
In my laptop I also have multiple graphics cards, an Intel and a NVIDIA one. And there's something called NVIDIA System settings or so, where I can select an application/program and select which graphics card it should use. Maybe there's something similar for AMD cards, too? So, instead of turning off your AMD card completely, try finding if you can select a specific graphics card for a selected program. Otherwise you will always have to turn your AMD card on and off if you play different games.
