Why would updates be slower? NLT already use Unity for ToN's auto-update function.

Because now everything has to be in a 3D environment. Granted if NLT went that route I’m sure he’d try to get more people on his team to keep his current schedule.

I think you have the wrong idea about Unity. Unity doesn't mean 3D environment. You can use the same pre-rendered images and animations as before, but also go into full 3D.

Sooner or later NLT will run into a bottleneck with RPG Maker, because RPG Maker's functions are limited. With Unity it won't happen, because you literally can code everything you want.

And you can see how much fun it gives them to catch fish with this fishing simulator.

Just as it has been said by a shit ton of everyone else, Treasure of Nadia is awesome! I remember running across NLT's comics, and then the patreon, finally actually subscribing too. Then it was a bummer that due to Patreon rules NLT had to shift focus. I think in the end that was a blessing in disguise, as NLT's output has just become better and better! Although I'd still would have liked to see the conclusion of "A Sunday Schooling".
