Thank you. That's a great news. I also checked his discord a few minutes ago and found that he said it'll take "a month or so" for the next update. I don't want this game getting abandoned.

I'm fairly certain that he only made that post on discord to try and avoid the abandoned status, especially since he only put in the minimum effort in letting people know he's still working on it. He didn't update patreon or subscribestar or explain why he was gone for so long.
He may still be working on the game, but the timing is very suspicious.
