wait, do you mean he ACTUALLY died? That's sad. But anyway, if the same happened to this game, it would be even worse, since the guy purposefully made this game difficult to mod, while SDT was designed for mod support.

Then again, mods have been difficult because he was actively obfuscating attempts to do it. If he's disappeared, now might be a good chance to try taking the game apart to create mods.

Iirc, the press article about the car crash/suicide supposedly involving Konashion (the guy who made SDT) was debunked two years ago. You can easily find the details on reddit or the original forum. But the guy vanished anyway so everything is possible....
