Before 0.7, he released updates with 1000 renderings, and afterwards always between 2000 and 3000.

Great game. Just wish there were more flavour dialogue/action options not tied specifically to any variable to increase immersion and interactivity.
I regret it big time. Now I have one more game that I frequently check weekly, hoping for a new update and hoping to finish the game before I get old.

The thing is that all objects cast shadows separately from each other. If there is only one light source, the shadows will overlap and everything will be fine. But if there are several light sources (as in this scene — above the table and behind the MC, probably the sun), the engines use various optimisation strategies to reduce the amount of shadow casting calculations. Obviously, all these optimisations can be wrong, which leads to such incidents.
Specifically, HS, in my opinion, has a limitation (like many other early 3D engines) that shadows are cast from only one source, so the MC ended up closer to one and the fork to another, and the algorithm chose different light sources for casting shadows for these two objects in the scene. Well, something like that.
P.S.
Either the fork was in the shade from the sun, and the engine decided to cast a shadow from the lamp.

Indeed, but also obviously renders aren't the only measure of progress. IMHO this is simply a dev that consistently delivers on a really high quality story with lots of lewd content and good communication as he progresses.

There's no cheat menu. i merged the gamee folder in mac. there are the other features but cheats menu is absent

I've just started playing this game, I'm at the point of MC on his way home from school, and our older sister's fight with her boyfriend. So really early on.
Question for those that have played the entire thing: does Alyvia grow up and stop acting like a dumb bitch later? Because there's been like two scenes with her so far, and she's been a dumb bitch in both of them.

Yes, she's one of the best characters in fact. With some of the best character progression. I heavily, heavily recommend going seduction route with her.

Each character changes in some way over the progression of the story. In fact, this is the MC's main task - to fix the past and thereby correct the behaviour of family and friends.

Half the story (seduction) is about not being an ugly bastard gooner.
This isn't even a mushoku tensei story where a pedo gets put in the body of a child but still very much views himself as the neet ugly bastard pedo gooner, other than the very early dream sequence where MC thinks that the first day (of him being in past) is just a dream is there a moment where MC is shown to still view himself as the ugly bastard gooner? The impreg fetish MC has (steph calls him out) Is attributed to his age in general NOT the fact that he was an ugly bastard or wants a child to prevent that.
All that aside people are ignroing the logic that he won't be an ugly bastard gooner because he has (or will have) money, friends (leo won't leave because of drifting apart (unless mc wants him gone), family (they all abandoned him first time), he will be doing way way more physical activity (having sex with incest harem+half the hottest girls at school + teacher oyakodon + random friends of your incest harem), hell he hasn't even shown a particularly strong desire to partake in things he was clearly addicted to in the past (smokes/drinks). Cant even say "nuh uh only (ugly bastard) sex matters" because this game is wordy as hell and clearly has a focus on story.
