The only problem is, it's becoming less and less clear, what the project actually is. If it's "creating Two Sides game" or "helping Greono to learn how to make games". I thought it was the former, but if you think about possibility that it might be the latter, it would explain a lot.
Or maybe it's the third option: Greono playing with Unity engine. Because if it would be the first one or the second one, there would be actually some kind of quality control.

Instead, we get "I'm gonna work on this because it's cool!"

I mentioned DoD as an example of the game that delivered.
It was made from start to the end with a lot of content in-between, while maintaining the quality throughout.

There are but a few Patreon projects like that, becouse sometimes along the way, authors figure out, they get paid the same for doing nothing as when they work hard ...

Vanilla or not, that's not the problem, you can pump out other content too. You just need to focus on story, instead of changing the game in the middle into something completely different. Plus it helps when you don't try to cater to too many different groups like Two Sides. In theory, it's great to cram in every fetish imaginable, because everyone will find something interesting to them. But is also means that nobody will have enough.

DoD delivered. Well, they released a "final" release, just to release Part 2 the next month. And its content... It's not something I would call "original". Pictures are kind of sort of pretty, but the story is something to be desired.

Hold on.
Your initial argument was that the whole Ren'py genre only made 2 games, deemed "good" by your standards, and "meh" by more than just me. Let me quote you by the letter:
The whole Renpy genre so far has resulted in 2 actualy good games so far - that have quality content and a lot of actual sex in it.
Instead of blaming the incompetent developers, you single-handedly condemned an entire (sub)set of VN developers just because they made their game in Ren'Py.

Good job, gold star, and all that good stuff that comes with it.

Cool concept, interesting mechanics, but too few content. It's been a year and the game is still in it's v0.08. Idk, maybe that's normal for a low budget Patreon development, but I do hope to see this game completed some day.

Low budget? This guy was making 3-4k a month if I remember correctly but didn't do anything (like hiring someone). Definetly not low budget in my opinion, he just seems to be lazy and almost never keeps promises.

It's difficult to judge, the same amount of money is different in every country. Based on the last visible trend on Graphtreon, before he disabled money display, the average contribution went down. Which would make sense, people may still want to support the project, but with lower amount, because they don't get enough for it. So he's probably still around $3k. If it would be me, it would be double the national average income, not bad. He said he was from Brazil, but quick search for how much it's there gives me vastly different numbers, so I don't know shit. Not that I'd know in any case, because there's a difference if his regular job is washing plates or if he's some IT specialist or something. He used to have going full time on game at $5k. That would most likely include some extra for the risk, but again, there's no way how to tell how much he values that. In short, the amount money doesn't tell much.

But he really should do something. Last significant update was in June. He promised all new wonderful 3D version with filled gaps for end of August and we know how it went. His response to skeptical comments was that he already knows how to solve the problem and new version will be out ASAP. And it's been two weeks of silence since then...

What is the mind control aspect of this game? I haven't played yet but mind control is usually one of my favorite parts of these kinds of games and I don't really feel like playing if it's not actually mind control or if it's not implemented yet.

I'm from Brazil too. One dollar is equivalent to 4,17 reais as of today. The minimum income is about R$800 or so, so yeah, 5k dollars is a fucking lot of money for us. It kinda depends a little on where you live, though, it's a huge country and capitals are more expensive. Still, if he has that amount of money to work with, I'm pretty sure it's enough to make a living out of it, even though I don't know how expensive it is to develop a game. Let's just say that you can have a pretty confortable low end middle class life with about 5k reais a month. If you don't have a family to support, that is.

Well, it's gross income, so in the end it's going to be less. But it still doesn't sound too bad. Currently the main problem is that you have zero security about future. Patreon can axe the game at any moment, especially if you include some "dangerous" stuff as this game does. In theory, there are other options how to get paid, but they are much less fun than Patreon. Still, I believe that this kind of games is huge oportunity. You don't need that much to be successful. Good initial idea, a little dedication, some luck, and as some games show, you can be rolling in money in no time. The whole world is your market, all you need is few hundereds loyal followers sending you few dollars each. The start can be rough, but once it gets going and some hype builds up, people seem to be easy to please. Add few scenes with their favourite character every month, and it doesn't even have to be anything complicated, and you're set.

how to open the game, after download i dont have any application file to open besides other game files
I got the same problem, and found the file outside the folder. Like, when you unpack the game to your desired location, the folder contained all the data, but the actual launch was right next to the folder, not inside it. Try looking there

Hello guys
Solved the FPS problem.

I know it took time for the problem to be resolved, and I want to explain what happened.

As I said in the previous post, the characters were with their separate clothing meshes, and each of them was using a script that made their Bones follow the actor's bones. This was making the game weigh, plus there was another problem that I just identified after, the amount of active cameras in the scene. I was using a camera in each position and switching each of them via script, the problem is that their rendering was thought out.

Well, I had to create a new script with a different logic to use only a camera that records, at each dialogue with a new camera positioning, it took a lot of work and it caused a lot of bugs, which I had to fix and I got it successfully, see in the video.

the other work was the issue of the Clothing meshes, which had to re-import all the actors in a new format, which clothes are "glued" to the FBX of each. Well, it made the shading rendering lighter, but it gave me a lot more work, since I had to reimport each one of them, I also had to create a new rig for each one, so all the positions I had created in the scenes were lost, including the animations that I had already done. I had to do it all over again and did it all as fast as I could.

I am showing the video so that they can see that I am working, I am finishing the last scenes for this update, unfortunately i can not bring everything I had done because there are still to reinport characters and if I do it now, will take a lot of time.

I'm putting each character of the scenes in their proper places and expressions, once I finish doing this, I'll post the update.

I ask you to have a little more patience.

And I give my heartfelt thanks to those who are really believing in the project and in my work.

Thank you.
