Disable the autosaves when inside the game (not in main menu)
Look inside settings and there should be an option
The issue is fixed in v31 which will be released when the dev comes back and hopefully resolves his personal issues.

Can't seem to progress Jack, i took the briefcase with $3k in it now at 2000 - 2200 at kevin's diner, there is no prompt from Jack except his usual dialogue
That is such a weird update I don't know what to make of it. "I had something so fucked up happen I wont even be able to sleep, so I have to stop the development." Then mentions people can ask for refund.
Call me sceptical but I worry about the future of the development. And I was very much looking forward to public V31 release as V30 is very barebones and changelog for V31 looks very good.
Ehh just wait for a few weeks mate, V31 is already out for patreons so it's not like he's being dishonest or delaying the update intentionally.
I think this is the first time the dev has taken some time off and it's a "fucked up" family issue so let's just cut him some slack... we don't know what he might be going through
There are much worse devs out there who don't care about the game they're making, caring only for the money they make. Unaware wouldn't have offered a refund option if that was the case.

Yeah, I always take a developer having some kind of emergency with a grain of salt, especially just before a stated release date. The size of that grain depends on the developer, some have a huge pattern of having various "issues", while others have little to no history of it. There are a few that have issues right before literally every release, so I never believe those ones. The earliest example of this I remember seeing myself was a fan translator back in the late 00s / early 10s. He'd go to various forums saying he was translating a Black Lilith VN, then he'd have a computer crash just before release and would disappear for months at a time. There was no money in it, just forum clout and attention, but having money involved makes it so much more common (in my experience).

souldead341 Yeah, you summed it up perfectly. Family/health issues is sadly the best excuse and all kind of people tend to abuse it, not only patreon devs, because people won't delve into the subject, and then when actual shit hits the fan, nobody believes you.
Well, I've lost some time and update will be delayed, but I'll continue working, since it's my main job and I've got family to feed, so no worries, got plenty of reasons to keep it up.

Mr. Unaware Perhaps I missed it, but I cannot find an option to turn off the music? I really dislike music in games (good, bad, doesn't matter to me, especially on a second playthrough) so if there's no option to turn it off I kindly ask you to add one as soon as possible.
Other than that, game seems ok except for one glitch I noticed -- for example, when working in the coffee shop PC sometimes says things like "I need to speek with Kevin first" after finishing one of the working slots. It is I think the same message as if you tried to work without talking to him but shown after finishing a shift and before interracting with the cash register again.
Finally, the map transition / loading is really slow for me (on a high-end PC no less).

vessna You can read the changelog in the OP. Initial release (v30) is mainly art update + necessary changes to make it work and some other tweaks (no new content).

Mr. Unaware My definition of high-end is a 12-core, 24-thread Xeon W5-2455X @ 4GHz, 64 GB Quad-Channel DDR5 RAM, RTX 4090, and 2 TB Samsung 990 Pro M.2 SSD (one for OS and another for games).
On that PC loading a save after starting the game takes ~15 seconds (it counts up to 13 but the secounds counter appears stuck around 11 seconds for at least 2 additional seconds).
As for the sound settings, I couldn't find them until you told me about L shortcut -- I didn't realize the bar with icons is scrollable horizontally. Whoever thought that one up should definitely reconsider their career choices. I hope it wasn't your idea, but if it was I'll be blunt -- it's a bad UI design because it isn't really discoverable. Only after you explained it I tried the scroll wheel over the bar, otherwise I would have never thought about trying ti.

Hi, I'm interested in this game, and I have a few questions for the developer.
1. What is the difference between the Basic and Extended versions?
2. Will Extended versions ever be publicly available?
3. Do you have any plans for a single-payment system for gaining access to the versions on Patreon, i.e. an itch.io release? I prefer to pay a larger sum once for games as opposed to subscription models as my financial situation is not stable (I am disabled and dependent on my parents but want to move out to live with a partner eventually).

As mentioned above, v30 has its issues and some of them got fixed in v31, and will continue improvements in v32 and later updates. I'm trying to fix everything that people report, but there's some stuff that I can't fix, like a huge demand on RAM (mistakes were made). Regarding UI, no offence taken, I repeated it over the years many times that I'm utter shit when it comes to designing UI and one day I promise to improve it with a help of some other guy, but right now I'm drowning in work, and I feel nothing but pure hatred when it comes to working on UI. I know there's no real tutorial in the game, but by pressing H you will have all existing shortcuts in the game.
